MPH Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 So either dan is committing hari kiri or is drunk after winning the league... But in my game, im finding it really hard to give motivational team talks before, during or after a game!
Dan Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Dortmund 3-0 Stuttgart. Wolfsburg 3-1 Schalke. Absolutely embarrassing.

Dan Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 I'm actually laughing myself I think that's literally FOUR years we've been about a win away and come away empty handed. To lose 3-1 is unacceptable. Onto the German Cup final against Hamburg. If we lose this I will shoot myself. EDIT; Daniel Levy trying to buy Leicester on mine they've got a play-off final against Forest coming up too, are managed by Wes Hoolahan and beat Villa in the semis, whilst Forest beat Derby. Got to laugh at the stuff this game throws up.
Dan Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Hamburg 0-4 Schalke. Easy. Competition was dead as soon as Koln did the dirty work by knocking out Bayern & Dortmund. Trophy in the bag. Now for Atletico in the final. If I lose this
Leicesterpool Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Haven't played this in ages, must have stopped playing for a reason? meh i might look into again when i have the time. The idea of having a strike force of Benteke, R.Lambert & Danny Graham seemed pretty cool. Plus having Adam Johnson on the wing!
FoxLAD Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 anyone know any decent coaches for a non league team?
MPH Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 anyone know any decent coaches for a non league team? Ade Akinbiyi?
Leicesterpool Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 anyone know any decent coaches for a non league team? Why don't you cheat by going on editor putting someone like John Robertson as one of your coaches.
FoxLAD Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Why don't you cheat by going on editor putting someone like John Robertson as one of your coaches. where's the fun in that?
General Smuts Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Gotten back into this recently and retaken over my Stevenage save going in to 2020-21 season. Only the second season I've won the Prem - beating out Liverpool with 2 games to go and overturning an 11 point deficit. Also won the Club World Cup, European Super Cup, Capital One Cup, FA Cup and Champions League. Stevenage FC. Dominant. Only real players I have left are Romario at RB, Carlos Fierro and Gerard Deulofeu - the last 2 being subs. Best bit of transfer business in the off season was offloading my highest earner - and non regular - left back for 56m plus 4 players inc a left back I'd been chasing as his replacement. Cheers Liverpool. Numpties.
Dan Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Have you noticed a big increase in budget once you're champions of Europe? I'd normally get between £15-30mil a season at Schalke, I spent about £20mil the year just gone.
Brainy Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Oh I don't fvcking believe this Woooooooooooooooooow. Dortmund host Stuttgart, we're away at Wolfsburg. If we win and they don't, we're champions, and the thing is it's actually not beyond the realms of possibility. Second season running I've been in a position like this as well. This would be absolutely sensational +7 Goal difference means nothing on the last day of the season aswell, just ask Banik Ostrava
Dan Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 true My time with Schalke is over. Won it all with them now, the Bundesliga, the 'Champions' League, the German Cup (x2), joined Man Utd. I've actually never ever won the Premier League on this, so time to get that one in the bag.
LCFC FOX Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Stormed the championship with Reading in the 4th season. Moving up to the Premier league, do people tend to stick to the formation that done them so well in the championship or change tactics to a more defensive approach?
Dan Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 If you've stormed the league with that formation then it has potential. Stick with it and build around it.
Tom17LCFC Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 I swear you're not meant to win some games on this. The amount of times I score a last minute equaliser/winner, it seems to play on until the opposition bag the winner/equaliser even deeper into injury time. It happens so often I'm beginning to think it's a bug. I can't be that bad. EDIT: The game in question the opposition have just got a winner even deeper into injury time, 3 goals in injury time. I could cry...

Moving up to the Premier league, do people tend to stick to the formation that done them so well in the championship or change tactics to a more defensive approach? I always keep the same. Did it with Fulham and Leeds, and achieved solid Premier League finishes. Look to beat the 'lower' teams, playing the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool is just all part of it although a hammering is always on the cards On my game as well, Southampton. Never beat them, in fact, earlier this season they beat me 0-4 at home. Literally never beat them, can't seem to do so. I might resign now. I think I've taken Leeds as far as I can. Out of the league cup already, sitting 15th, I'm just getting bored. Meh.

Dan Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 You can take Leeds further than 15th in the Prem, surely? I think the PL is easier this year with the kind of money you get.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 You can take Leeds further than 15th in the Prem, surely? I think the PL is easier this year with the kind of money you get. I managed to get them a top 4 team.

Nowhere near enough. 2022 WC Group: Qatar Scotland Peru Costa Rica Worst ever?
