You can take Leeds further than 15th in the Prem, surely? I think the PL is easier this year with the kind of money you get.

Yeah, the money is very good as well. I've carried on at the minute but we're just getting smashed every game. The run of form is horrible, but I have it at least once every year. The start to the season was perfect though, couldn't stop winning. Then Southampton beat me (as usual) and it all changed.

Last season I had my weakest CL group with Juventus, Fenerbache and Portadown which I struggled to get through.

This season it's my toughest with Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Leverkusen

6-2 vs Madrid, 3-1 vs Leverkusen and 7-0 vs Inter plus a 2-1 win away has seen me qualify with ease

Absolutely gutted.

Just finished my 4th season with Southampton, finished 11th, 7th, 5th and now 3rd.

This season got knocked out in the semi's of league cup to spurs.

Lost in final of FA cup on penalties to UTD, with UTD going first i had 4 chances to win it

Lost in final of Europa league 1-0 to Udinese to one of them flukey goals after knocking out Arsenal in the Semi's.

Loads of positives to take from the season but some stupid points dropped against the teams near the bottom

Looks to be my side for the new premier league season, have a bit more money to spend where do you think I'm weakest in my team for a newly promoted side?

Bad, bad move going to Man Utd. Bored by October.

Started again as Leicester. Did well with them last time but nothing amazing. Time to make them champions of Europe.

Posted

I wanted to start as Go Ahead Eagles cos they have a badass name and just got promoted to the top division in Holland but LFCMarshalls been slacking a bit on the old update.

lol - Got approached by Arsenal. The challenge was to try to win the league, a cup and a European Competition but in previous versions of FM I've got bored at the top end before. Not sure.

Changed to 352 and seem to be picking up better results now. Drew 2-2 away at Reading and won at Stoke 2-0. Both of them teams are in the top 6.

So I started as the Go Ahead Eagles in the end and got promoted in my first season on the last day, pretty sweet.

I'm getting taken over too, which has never happened on this years game so hopefully I get myself a nice little Japanese tycoon or something.

Their badge is awful though, I'm going to have to rustle something up on Photoshop, call it a rebranding or something. lol

Bought FM for the first time ever last month, just led the mighty Foxes to promotion with 4 games to spare, now to finish off winning the league over Brighton who will be coming up with us. Also in the FA Cup final after beating Watford 5-1 in the semis (that was particularly sweet).

Starting to think maybe Pearson should be sacked now - it is this easy after all...

First summer signed Jay Tabb, Cape Verdean veteran Rui Almeida Monteiro on a free, Jernade Meade on season loan, Victor Palsson on season loan from Nijmegen, and got Danny Simpson in January.

Whitbread and Morgan has been an absolutely immense CB pairing all season. Been playing 4-1-2-1-2 at home and 4-3-1-2 away.

Also I have spent a bit but never gone over the transfer or wage budgets, yet the media reports and that always say 'debt-ridden Leicester', 'troubled Leicester' etc. I was told after signing Simpson I'd only be able to reinforce the squad with Academy players and that some players might find their positions under threat should our 'financial crisis' worsen. Is this because of something I've done, something the game has thrown into the mix, or just the game being true-to-life with regards to the Sven-era debts?

Its becasue they're in massive debts when you start, if you don't gain promotion in the first two seasons they will fall apart. On my game currently Leicester are in the relegation zone in League 2

 but...don't they know we're massive?

If you're going up then don't worry about it. Have a look on finances to see what your balance is (different to transfer budget). But yeah, you'll make profit once you're promoted as long as you aren't silly with wages.

Champions League Semi's for the first time with Sparta. Sounds pretty daft given i've done like 30 seasons with them

Score a last minute winner to win on away goals vs PSG (5-5) then score twice in the last 10mins against Man City to take them to Penalties

SP score

It sounds like you had a couple of pulsating ties there!
