lol i left Sparta Prague, tried to click back on their team but it wouldn't let me. If I clicked another team and went back to click Sparta Prague it would come up with that clubs name where it should say Sparta Prague, hence ^

Now manager at Sporting Lisbon. Never managed in Portugal before, club massively in debt, massive overhaul needed.

reinstall the game, Jordan. Backup your savegames.

I was getting an XML error message and couldn't load anything. I deleted a settings folder that fixed the error message, then I was able to run a previous version of the save.

I cruised to the League One title, and after a shaky start in the next season,, I've taken Sunderland up to 4th place in December. Director of Football Zat Knight lol has come through with some solid help with transfers and loans.

Reading and QPR, both struggling in the Championship, have offered me their jobs and a better salary but I declined both. Everton, Leeds, and Wigan--all struggling in the Premiership--have also tapped me up, but their squads are all a mess and I don't really have the patience to turn them around mid-season.

Now, though, Malaga (12th in La Liga) have made me an offer... It's tempting... I wish I could use these offers to leverage a sweeter deal and more investment from the Sunderland board, but that's not happening... Hmm.

Wow lol I came 11th with Nantes which is very poor when I was predicted 4th.

The club underwent a takeover and the finances remained pretty much the same, and I kept my job by the skin of my teeth.

With plenty of contracts expiring, I re-build a bit, signed about 7/8 new players and thought I'd have a read on how to get a side playing proper possession football. Not nick any tactics (or download any as it's as bad as nicking Man City's money IMO), just a few tips.

What a success it's been. Absolutely pissing the league so far, won my last 7 and have won away at Auxerre and AS Nancy in the cup, of which we're now in the quarters of. This'll be one of my best saves, can tell already.

Been a while since I stayed up until silly o clock on it lol but this game's got me hooked (again)

Quick summary of my career so far:

Þróttur Reykjavík

2013 Iceland 1. deild: 4th/12

2014 Iceland 1. deild: 2nd/12 (promotion)

2015 Iceland Úrvalsdeild: 2nd/12 (2016/17 Europa League 1st qualification round berth)

-------Iceland Manager of the Yeah

2016 Iceland Úrvalsdeild: 6th/12 (Knocked out in Europa League 3rd Qualifying Round)

2017 Iceland Úrvalsdeild: 1st/12 (2018/19 Champions League 2nd qualifying phase berth)

------ Iceland Upper League Cup winner

-------Iceland Manager of the Year

2018 Iceland Úrvalsdeild: 2nd/12 (Europa League 1st qualification round berth, knocked out in Champions League 3rd qualifying phase, qualified for 2018/19 Europa League Group Stage)

-------Iceland Upper League Cup winner

Sunderland

2018/19 England League One: 1st/24 (promotion)

2019/20 England Championship: 9th/24

Last season, we were there or thereabouts for automatic promotion until we had a Leicester-like collapse from February-April and wound up missing the playoffs entirely.

Malaga offered me the same salary as I am earning in Sunderland so they can go do one.

It looks like the back-to-back relegations Sunderland suffered before I took over have crippled the club financially. Even though I stayed within budget, the club is hemorrhaging money. I've got a few good young players that may be ready to break into the first team, and a few decent loanees, but I've had to cut payroll and sell a few veterans so my squad is definitely not as good "on paper" as it was last season.

There's a takeover in process with the new consortium of owners reportedly promising to inject $15m into the club's coffers, but seriously guys let's hurry the **** up because the season starts next week and I'd kind of like the money before the transfer window shuts (if the new owners keep me on, that is). There was a Turkish bid to buy the club last season and we even had a self-imposed transfer embargo but that takeover collapsed at the 11th hour.

I have a social life, I swear.

Absolute disbelief, I've dropped to 8th, we're losing literally every game despite dominating. I have never ever seen anything like this.

Loving my 5th season with Leeds (it's gone so quick!)... Having previously finished 11th, 13th and 14th in the Premier League, I'm currently 4th this season! Had a great season and even made the semi's of both the League Cup and FA Cup.

Got three games left, Southampton are only three points behind me and Arsenal are 5 points behind me, but I've got 'Boro (already relegated) away next so I'm hoping I can secure a Champions League place in the next two games at the least.

Finally get a win over Sedan, only for those shitcunts OGC Nice to complete the double over us. Laughable stuff. No idea what's gone wrong.

Might just be because my game was much more advanced but there were plenty of staff with very high judging player potential/ability, pretty much pinched them all to the point where there are no decent ones available to join me at Sporting Lisbon because they're all at Sparta

always more interesting to read when people move around clubs rather than staying with one club for years

Didn't go up. I am so, so pathetic in these last day situations it's untrue lol

Monaco were 2 up after 4 minutes so it was as good as over from the start. They ran out 0-3 winners whilst we squandered a 2-0 lead and drew 2-2. Thoroughly disgraceful.
