xxinxsxx Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 city fan seeking any help finding a secure full-time job.If anyone can help in any way help please reply Thanks
davieG Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 If your applications are like your post it's not surprising, wrong forum as well. Best of luck anyway.
m00nie Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 You would need to be bit more specific, someone could find you a full time job as a bin man and you want to do office work, find you a driving job and you have no license etc..
Rincewind Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 Best of look. I've been asking 12 months. No offers from Foxtalkers yet. :
Fox92 Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 There is a thread on job vacancies. A couple of members are seeking work, and although there are posts regular, Foxestalk is not the number one place to search for work. Depends on your industry, but try directgov (jobcentre) and agencies etc
Daggers Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 city fan seeking any help finding a secure full-time job.If anyone can help in any way help please reply Thanks If you are female, fit, have big tits and low morals then I might have a job for you as a live-in au pair.
lavrentis Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 Bit harsh on him to be honest, not everyone is the best at English? Good luck in finding a job, but I don't think people can help you out on here
BoneDog Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 If it's a secure and regular job you want then mercenary is the only way to go. That business made over $85 Billion just from the Iraq war. Plenty of work available in Africa, the Middle East, South America, and even places like the US will be mercenary heaven soon. GET TRAINING!
Rincewind Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 43 posts since 2007? Is that also the number of jobs you have had?
Saxondale Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 Bit harsh on him to be honest, not everyone is the best at English? Good luck in finding a job, but I don't think people can help you out on here This.
Haydos Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 Bit harsh on him to be honest, not everyone is the best at English? Good luck in finding a job, but I don't think people can help you out on here Maybe not replied to in the nicest way but the point still stands. If you apply for a job with poor spelling/grammar then you're not going to get on very well. It doesn't matter if you're not good at it, you should seek to improve and in the meantime get someone to help you with it. There are plenty of people whether it be family, friends or at the job centre that should be able to help you with basic English on job applications.
BoneDog Posted 1 July 2012 Posted 1 July 2012 What I used to do when I was looking for work back in the day was to try and find a builder, scaffolder or landscape gardener who wanted a labourer. There used to be quite a few of those jobs around. Pro's : Builds your strength. You're out and about on different jobs. Sometimes get a tan. Con's : Bad weather.
Father Ted Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 Searching for a job is a pain in the arse. Handed my CV in at about 10 different places today in search of a summer job but everywhere I seem to have looked has no vacancies. Seen a couple delivering leaflets/catalogues, etc, has anybody done this before? Pro's/Cons etc?
Bluefoxtim Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 Yeah, the catalogue job would be well worth it. I recommend a guy called Don.

Daggers Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 Recruitment company with a mobile number listed as their phone/fax line?! Shitty fvcking wankers. Turn up and punch someone in the bollocks for having the audacity to try to scam the unemployed who are hunting jobs.
Rincewind Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 Should not cost that much for a CRB. Think mine was £10 and its still valid after 4 years. Think you just paid a government office. Is it private now?
AoWW Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 Should not cost that much for a CRB. Think mine was £10 and its still valid after 4 years. Think you just paid a government office. Is it private now? An Enhanced CRB check costs £44, a Standard check is £26.
sphericalfox Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 It's not uncommon for some agencies to make you pay for the CRB check upfront and refund you the cost of the CRB after you work a specific number of weeks on assignment. If it's a permanent job they find you they usually refund you the costs when you've got the job.
