Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Haha, 19bmi, I'm average... in Bhutan. Was 14 stone 7lbs for a few years then decided to shape up. Been hovering around 10 stone for about a year now, and much happier about it
Greg2607 Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 turns out i'm REALLY fat. fatter than 82% of the worlds population. well that's cheered me up.
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I'm up there with the breast of them. 27 Bmi below national higher Global. I am more overweight than those starving in Africa. That's worrying. More than someone from peru.. Wasn't a Teddy Bear from Peru? Only guessed. Too lazy to get out my chair to measure and weigh myself.
Darkon84 Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 You're most like someone from Cameroon* Factoid: If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 3,690,638 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population

I don't find that unbelievable or have I misunderstood it or you?
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Just done it again. Now have a pen mark on my wall. Gone from being like someone from Peru to someone from United States. I'm not sure if I like that. Bellend Sebastian Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 87% of UK males in my age range are heavier than me, and my BMI is 23. You bunch of fat f***s, Britain
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Are you really at the Dawn Centre B Sebastian? Is the weight with or without clothes? I have keys and money in my pockets. If i take 15 oz off I go to below average national to someone from Switzaland.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Considering the vast majority of the world's population is in Africa and South-East Asia I should imagine pretty much everyone in the UK, bar people with eating disorders, is going to be in the top half of the equation.

I don't find that unbelievable or have I misunderstood it or you? I thought they could have made the age ranges a bit tighter for a more accurate conclusion.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Just for the record, do you enter your weight before or after you've done a poo?
Bellend Sebastian Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Are you really at the Dawn Centre B Sebastian? Mercifully not, but my usual place of employ is very close to it so I spend a large chunk of my life pretty much on its doorstep
davieG Posted 13 July 2012 Author Posted 13 July 2012 I thought they could have made the age ranges a bit tighter for a more accurate conclusion. Agree especially 15-29 people can undergo massive changes in their build during that time, well even 15 to 21 based on all the apprentices I've managed over the years, you start off looking down at them and end up looking up at them.
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Mercifully not, but my usual place of employ is very close to it so I spend a large chunk of my life pretty much on its doorstep I live off Lincoln Street so not too far. Thought about nipping in in the mornings to help out with breakfasts. I heard you get a free one for volunteering and its OK. Also it may give me a little experience in a kitchen to add to my CV.
Xen Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I roughly guessed on the height/weight, but it's mostly accurate... BMI of 18, lower than 98% of UK males in my age range... Most similar to someone from DR Congo. If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 68,284,125 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population I need to put on weight...

I know a bloke that works there but he's not management or anything so you might as well go direct but happy to relay any questions you might have. Sounds a bit lively in there at times but plenty of the folk are OK, I think
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Yes I know some people that have been through the system of homelessness and hostels not a good experience. Shared accomodation can be a nightmare too. Some of the places are terrible. The landlord are just out to make as much money as they can. Been told this by those who are in or have been in the situation. I was told just to go in and ask to help.
