fleckneymike Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I'm noticing that regardless of topic most posts all come back to one thing. Jermaine Beckford. Perhaps we can compile a comprehensive list of things which via the six degrees rule, inevitably connect to Jermaine Beckford.
fleckneymike Posted 17 August 2012 Author Posted 17 August 2012 In Jermaine's case it tends to be one degree but it all comes from the theory of six degrees of separation whereby you can link yourself to anyone in the world in just six people For Jermaine it seems any debate can quickly be connected to Jermaine's striking prowess
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Link Jermaine to Kevin Bacon in six degrees.
Zingari Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Years ago there was a competition in the Saturday Guardian called 6 steps to Carlton Palmer . The setter would give a starting name and chose the best/humorous way to get from that name to Carlton Palmer
Kitchandro Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 There's alwaysgot to be something that creeps into every thread over a period of time. In a few months JB will prove the doubters wrong and there'll be something else. Or maybe we'll recycle old crazes like Gallagher should/shouldn't be booed, Ricardo should/shouldn't be booed, whether we should stick with Pearson, it's Wellens' fault, are we signing Maynard and did we get rid of Sven too soon.

Jordan Posted 18 August 2012 Posted 18 August 2012 Kevin Bacon's Beckford Number is 3. Bacon was in JFK with Tony Plana. Plana was in Goal! The Dream Begins with Sven-Göran Eriksson. Eriksson bought Jermaine Beckford from Everton for a £2.5m fee (which could rise to £4m in total).
