Very satisfied. Only had them a couple of months, though im not sure how you managed to keep a pair of in ears going for 5 years :appl:

The mic / remote is very handy (although a little fiddly).

It's a ruddy miracle, isn't it? I wasn't even that careful with them - went through the washing machine three or four times in the end.

They were actually my second pair, the first having been replaced under warranty within a year, so it just goes to show there's a lot of luck involved.

I'll probably give the Byron's a go, especially as that's cheaper than I've seen them elsewhere. Could do with a change

You won't be disappointed.

Any suggestions for cheapish over the ear wired headphones? Very out of fashion I know but it's to plug into a guitar amp so wireless is of no use.

AKG K52 and Sennheiser HD206 look alright but they can't be the only ones?

I've bought some wireless earbuds, a purchase made under at least partial duress.

Entirely predictably they sound slightly shitter than the wired ones they're replacing, despite costing more than twice as much

What did you go for? I'm looking for some wireless earbuds at the moment

The curiously named Nothing Ear A. Based on reviews it was a toss up between them and the Sony WF-C700s, went for these as they had been more expensive and also available in yellow so might be slightly harder to lose.

I'm warming to the sound a little, and the technology is impressive. It does boil my piss a bit though that the most expensive earphones I've ever bought by miles aren't the best sounding, but hey, that's wireless for you

I've got a pair of Sony XM5s and a pair of Samsung Buds3Pro - I prefer the XM5s. In fact, I like them so much I opt for them rather than my over the ear XM4s. Noise cancelling is brilliant, they totally remove cry child on flight annoyances.

But I did spend some minutes roping nearby spectators in to looking for one of the earpods at the KTFC match on Saturday. Then I found it in the case in my pocket. This never happens with over-ear headphones. :D

Audio Technica ATH-M50x for my bedroom producer music willy puller stuff, but they're just great over ear headphones for anything IMO.

A pair of Sony WF-1000XM5 for day-to-day usage, which are excellent.

Bought a pair of cheapo JLab Go Airs recently for running as I wanted those ear hooks to keep them on my big lugs. Surprisingly good functionality and sound quality for a pair of very cheap headphones.

However they lasted about a week before the bluetooth just seemed to stop working, so they got sent back. Get what you pay for, I suppose.

Earfun air pro £50. Got mine a few years ago and are very good for general use.

These were on the radar, as they get pretty good reviews.

I have to say I'm more than a bit sceptical when it comes to reviews of wireless headphones though as it feels they should be saying these are AMAZING....for wireless headphones.

I read a user review of mine that said they were so much better than his Air Pod Pros, which just made me think, how much of a rip off were they?

I blame Dr Dre for normalising spending a fortune on average quality kit

I wasn't sure if I preferred these to over ear/ head band style so thought buy it cheap see how I get on first.

I've gotten too well with them and now I don't want to upgrade them 😂

I'm glad to hear at least someone isn't crushed with disappointment.

I've given up on earphones, I'm going to try and get my kicks from the air fryer that's being delivered tomorrow

I still can't for the life of me get my XM4s to fit my ears properly.  So basically tinny sound and sod all noise cancelling.  Sigh.

Got a pair of these recently also - my first foray into earbuds for ages thanks to some John Lewis Vouchers. Very good.

How are you getting on with them?

I've been using a pair of Anker ones for a while and I'm getting fed up of the sound quality tbqh but the Bluetooth is so convenient for my different devices that I can't be arsed going back to cable now.

Last time I took a headphone recommendation from you I ended up with a ten year addiction to e10s.

They're ALRIGHT, and I'd be perfectly content if they were no better than the Soundmagics, it's just that they're not as good.

I've no problems with the detail levels - they're probably actually better - it's the lack of any sparkle; there's none of the crispness around the higher frequencies or sense of space around them - I'm aware I'm explaining this very badly. I wonder if it's just what all Bluetooth headphones sound like - I've not heard many but I've listened to far more expensive over ear sets and found much the same thing

Just after people's opinion need to look at getting new headphones really. I currently have Skullcandy crusher, I'm thinking of getting the Bose QuietComfort. Just wondered if anyone had tried these and what their thoughts were? Or any other recommendations?
