How much longer will the owners stick with Pearson

Sousa got 9 games league games? I can't see them suddenly sacking after FOUR league games.

Our league start is the same as last year one win and two losses. This year though the losses are away from home not at home though, and the performances in those losses have been far better than those of last year.

Would people have said Sven was for the chop had we lost to Forest away last year? We ended up drawing the game. One points difference from what we'd be on if we lose today's game.

Why do people presume they have suddenly become even more ruthless and idiotic.

I know cup games don't count in babylonia but that pathetic loss to a 4th division side, at home, is the key difference that you haven't quoted.

3 points from 12

Oh yeah, good point!!

If we're sacking managers 4 games into a season having played some of the best football we've played in years then we may as well all give up and go home. Ridiculous.

Rather than continually sniping and looking for something to have a go at, why not just get behind your team?

Are you a City fan or just pretending?

I think Pearson will be under a hell of a lot of pressure today, But I don't think we have much choice other than to stick with Pearson for the whole season. There will be no benefit to him leaving this year as a new boss will have no chance to remodel things.

I'm hoping for a good win today and a kick start to the season. Although personally I don't have much respect for Pearson the man (moronic, aggressive, arrogant and in contempt of the fans during interviews) Hopefully these players are good enough despite Pearson's management style.

I'm pretending. I'm pretending by going to games that you listen to on the radio.

I ain't getting into a row with you.

Keep on having a go at the team and the manager if it makes you feel better.

I'll be going to watch the game and hopefully see us get something out of it.

I await your cries of 'Pearson out' from somewhere in the ground if we start losing.

I have to agree with you on this, but I don't think our squad is strong enough.

Your comments on Pearson, are spot on. :appl: :appl:

And you think they won't have noticed we changed almost the entire team? Or noticed that cup shocks have happened since the dawn of time? Or that performances with that completely different team were of a significantly higher standard.

I've only chanted for a manager to be sacked once, David Pleat, and have never ever booed the team or an individual playing for the team in my life. I've also only comment on performances in games that I've attended.

I actually hope that NP turns it around. I dislike the guy, but he's our manager and I like his new style of play this season. My post this morning have been pretty much saying that I think we'll win today so I'm not sure why you think I'm sniping.

This is a forum about Leicester City though isn't it??? Is it only meant for happy clapping and celebrating how great we are?? Is it only here for the pro-Pearson brigade?? Is it not here to discuss our opinions of how the team and manager is doing???

I must have got it wrong. I thought forums were for debate, banter, opinions, sharing of info, etc .... not all agreeing that Nigey is the bestest and from what I've heard from the radio we are playing really well and we should all listen.

Is the manager of the football club only in charge of the first 11 now??? Sorry, I thought that his squad and his selections for all games counted. My mistake, i hope the owners realise too.

By replying i would imagine that would include you. Or do you just listen to the radio?

What happened, was it simply the paperwork not being completed in time?

3rd choice for me too, but not according to NP who started him in the first game of the season with a full squad to choose from.

We pulled out after all the paperwork was signed for some reason.

We were wanting the loan to turn to permanent & the deal hung on that fact... from their point of view his wages were a sticking point... But we were the ones who pulled the plug according to their chairman

Posted

why cant we all just support them manager and the team instead of getting on there back after every defeat.

some of our fans forget what fvcking shite managers/players we have had in the past.

so cant we just be positive for once...

So what you are saying is you think winning a cup game against lower league opposition convinced the owners to keep Sven and Sousa. Even though results and performances were worse or the same. Even though their ambition is to get promoted, those pivotal cup games proved the managers were worthy of time.

But Pearson, having lost a cup game (with a team that will never play in the league together) is definely not up to it, even though performances in the league have been positive so far.

I'm even forgetting letting your own first choice striker go, or at least letting him talk to other clubs (has he gone?),

No he hasn't... we pulled the plug with 10mins spare according to their chairman on Twitter

What make you think NP has a choice if he wants to bring a few loan deals in... It's not like our wage bill is a bottomless pit we can just keep adding to & you have to wonder how happy JB would be living primarily on the bench and if that would cause unhappiness

Really? Wow .... Thanks for the info. You'd love to know what happens in that room. Can't imagine we have a very motivated JB now, so must have been quite a major sticking point to pull out at the last minute knowing we'd be stuck with him after showing him the door.

Cos if you're like 5Wally5 it's more fun to try to ruin any excitement any of us may have about tonight's game.

I'm with ya mate... Let's get behind em and mean it.

No, as I'm sure you are well aware I'm alluding to the fact that the bigger picture counts.

Awwwww I sowwy if i wuined your excitement for the big game ....

In fact if you read my posts i think we'll win tonight in a good game that ends 3-2 to us. Personally I can't wait for the game - came on here to discuss it - thought that people would be seeing it as a big game and be talking about the team / their team etc ..... but it's the usual pearson love-in where any opinion that doesn't say Nigey is God is pounced upon as a nasty vile pearson hating non supporter.

Not sure why you have you sensitive head on .... is it because you'll miss Youngy and Stringer telling you what to think tonight?

I love football, I love LCFC, I'm not a massive fan of NP, but in fact he has won me over to a certain extent by his more adventurous play and more purist style of play this season. However after 3 defeats on the bounce, one of which was to a 4th division side, I can't just blindly say everything is see is amazing and wonderful and thought this was a forum for discussion about LCFC. Clearly it's not.

It's a clique for a few people that don't want to listen to anything that doesn't blindly follow their opinion of everything is great - we want to be mid table and we are - fantastic!!!!!

tbf....if we'd a lost 3 defeats on the spin with shite performances then....i'd maybe start to get a little worried. but the performances have been there,

Oh course I want leicester to do well. but isnt most keys to success within football built upon a stable team & manager.
