SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 October 2012 Author Posted 14 October 2012 Heskey played a solid game was easily one of there best players and was great at holding the ball and giving it off, created space for his team mates and generally brought his wide men in to the match. On the otherside Del Pierro is still all class, his legs may not be the quickest but his mind still is.
purpleronnie Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 drinking it the stands, standing on seats...how dare they.
OzFox Posted 26 October 2012 Posted 26 October 2012 drinking it the stands, standing on seats...how dare they. They had a blow up great white shark as well. Outrageous.
Simo86 Posted 26 October 2012 Posted 26 October 2012 Scored twice today already making it 4 goals in his last 3 appearances. Time for more as well!
stix Posted 26 October 2012 Posted 26 October 2012 What a beast at the defender on the line! Uses his elbow to try and prevent the goal, then when it goes in grasses himself up for it!!!
Soar Fox Posted 27 October 2012 Posted 27 October 2012 £1.5 million pound bid in January. Come on Pearson make it happen.
Aus Fox Posted 27 October 2012 Posted 27 October 2012 Just read the story of Heskeys goals against Sydney Victory, http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/Emile-Heskey-wows-Aussies-starring-role/story-17192277-detail/story.htm Great journalism from the great Mecury
sdb Posted 27 October 2012 Posted 27 October 2012 Link doesn't work but I read it earlier. Was an awful line along the lines of 'Heskey fired Newcastle to the top of the A League league after week 4 of the league.'
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 October 2012 Author Posted 28 October 2012 As much as i love seeing Heskey bang in goals, i dislike it when it's against my team. We were always going to battle when we have no defence.
sdb Posted 28 October 2012 Posted 28 October 2012 How is Aus taking to Emile? Is it quite a big deal? And where can I find Heskey cam highlights?!?!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 October 2012 Author Posted 29 October 2012 Heskey was probably seen as the lesser of the 3 new marquee signings behind Shinji Ono and Del Pierro but his still a big deal. More so obviously in Newcastle than he is here, the fact he is getting goals is a big plus for him and crowd numbers have been up in Newcastle as well so the fans are taking to him.

Would definetly say that Heskey is number 2 behind Del Piero. Wore my LCFC Walkers Heskey kit whilst watching the game. Was obviously hoping for a Melbourne win however to be treated to a Heskey goal. Unfortunatly he buried two and we only managed to put away one.

From my prospective he is but i believe Ono has been huge and all of WSW games are being broadcast in to Japan now.

I would agree with this maybe different in Sydney but I would say Heskey is defo number 2 to Del Piero
OzFox Posted 29 October 2012 Posted 29 October 2012 Great to see Heskey doing so well. Lots of Juve shirts at Sydney matches these days. I reckon half the crowd are Italian
RumbleFox Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Anyone seen this.... http://hereisthecity.com/2012/11/13/emileheskeyislovinghisaustralianadventure/ Pleased for him, will always love Heskey. Was watching some classic MON era games on youtube yesterday and Heskey really was unbelievable for us. He was unplayable at times. Forgot just how good we were back then, was fortunate enought to be at Leicester Uni from 99-02 so saw a lot of that team. We love you Heskey. X
