IMO the ball was always going to hit his hand, but "intent" as written in the laws is interpreted with enough nuance that would have justified the ref whistling for handball. Not every foul or infraction is cheating.

And then do that twattish celebration to rub it in the faces of people who earn less in a year than he does in probably a couple of days. Yeah, he's a real winner in my book...

...as opposed to any loser that would get wound up by a goal celebration.

We're shit, such a shit game..was hoofball all game. The red wasn't one as the Hudds player dived to make it look like Dervite touched him.

Beckford is a moaning little shit

BECKFORD'S TOO GOOD FOR YOU!!

Home to either Swansea or Arsenal - Should be easy for the Premiership side if they play to their best, but not completely out of the question for creating another upset.

As long as you have players rolling around feigning injury and looking at getting other players sent off.

I agree entirely, but there are hundreds of thousands of Manchester United "fans" In the UK. More viewers = more £.

Something like 36 consecutive Manchester United FA Cup ties have been on TV.

If Man united are on tv next round , I'll be annoyed. spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool & possibly arsenal all away to lower league teams

Fair play to Suarez, I would have done the same. He's a winner.

The Mansfield guy had it spot on really..which player would admit?

Football isn't like golf/snooker where the expectation is for a player to owe up to "cheating"

Hull having to go into extra time, good to see...

MK away tonight

Have absolutely no idea if we'll win or not because we could either play a full strength side or our reserves

Sounds like you were well beaten TBH...not that you probably care too much.

There was an interesting incident which maybe sums up the problem of players diving when one of the MK Dons players was tripped in the penalty area but stayed on his feet and had a shot...but the play wasn't brought back for a foul.

Karl Robinson suggested had the player just thrown himself to the ground it would have been given so sort of said "Is it no surprise players do it if refs don't give fouls when attackers try to be honest and stay up right"?

Even though stats will say they had a few shots on our goal, they were mostly wayward shots from range or ranged efforts straight at our keeper. Later on there were many chances where we could have even extended our lead.

Also, Powell can trip himself over well enough (And he did this and was booked for diving against Bury which may have been on his mind when he was tackled in the box) but if someone else tries to hack him down he will stay on his feet for as long as possible. Nearly got the goal too!

That was ****ing cold tonight, by the way.

Both Hull and Palace went to extra time, which is a possible bonus.

Definitely.

Win on Friday and we could start to see a little breathing space opening up.

That Bury incident was mentioned...fair play if he does try to stay up and thought about what happened before.

There would be a lot of players (including one or two of ours) who would still take the risk regardless.

It was a valid arguement to an extent though from Robinson although he is generally a bit of a ref basher but for all I know he could be right!

Shame Macclesfield isn't on, although I suppose the TV companies were wary of showing Macclesfield v Bournemouth before the replay :D

I bet ESPN are desperately hoping for a United win later based on that selection. Yes i understand there's millions of United fans, but what's almost certainly going to be a comfortable win for them is hardly going to be edge of the seat viewing.

I've just been chatting to my mate at work who supports Man Utd and he agrees. We came to the conclusion that it's just going to be a run of the mill Premiership game, and even if Fulham win it's not that ridiculous.

Peach of a pass from Anderson to put through Hernandez who set up Rooney.

No atmosphere though.

Old Trafford always seems quiet, too many tourists I reckon.

A bit of a shame considering how good Yanited's away support is.

Man Utd/ West Ham V Fulham like Kopops said will just be like another premiership fixture.

Would like to have saw Millwall V Aston Villa televised. A premiership team potentially getting knocked out and a better atmosphere.

Saying that looks like they could both meet each other next season in the league.

A number of empty seats too, which means that their wonderful fans in far flung places who always say they would go if they could get a seat are bulls*itters.
