ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Not lie to the referee and demand a freekick be given? Not like he doesn't have experience in cheating though. You're living in a dream world if you ever think that'd happen. The officials made a mistake and Liverpool benefited. Nothing to do with Suarez. We spend days upon days berating our "luck" on these boards, Liverpool fans do the same in pubs etc every week (trust me, I hear it). If we got a decision like that the reaction would be "finally something going our way", not "we've cheated, we should've stopped playing this is a disgrace". Bad officiating has ruined that result, not cheating.
Fox92 Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Cheating happens in every game, not just with Liverpool (or Everton or Tranmere).
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 How about he just doesn't use his hand... he clearly knows what he was doing... If he did that on purpose then Liverpool are missing a trick not playing him in goal. Better reactions that Gordon Banks.
AKCJ Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 If he did that on purpose then Liverpool are missing a trick not playing him in goal. Better reactions that Gordon Banks. He's already proven that in the ****ing World Cup. Can't see how/why you're defending him.
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He's already proven that in the ****ing World Cup. Can't see how/why you're defending him. Because he's done no different to what the other hundreds of thousands of footballers, professional or not, all over the world would do every fúcking time.
purpleronnie Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Because he's done no different to what the other hundreds of thousands of footballers, professional or not, all over the world would do every fúcking time. Agreed, the problem Suarez has is his reputation, therefore every incident like this will be examined much more than it would if another player had done the same thing, and this inturn adds to Suarez's poor repuaution...he can't win really....even if he does everything he can do minimize these incidents he couldnt possibly elimate them all.....unfortunately for him.
z-layrex Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Hahahahaha. Even if he wanted to do it on purpose I massively doubt he could've reacted that quickly. It shot up onto his arm and he scored. He got lucky. What do you want him to do? Not score because it hit his hand? He kissed his ****ing hand at the crowd for Christ's sake.
Swarles Barkley Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He kissed his ****ing hand at the crowd for Christ's sake. Actually he kissed his wrist which he always does when he scores. Something to do with his daughter
SystonFox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He does that every time he scores you absolute fuckmong. It's a tattoo with his kiddys name on it and its his standard celeb. Just like shearers one hand in the air. It was ball to hand and it went in, get off the guys back you racist i know the guy isn't racist I just thought id throw that one in there for effect
AKCJ Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Because he's done no different to what the other hundreds of thousands of footballers, professional or not, all over the world would do every fúcking time. Oh, sorry. That makes it all alright.
Haydos Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gE7fICIiJTo Looks like his arm is moving towards the ball anyway and he tries to get it out the way. Also he reacts like he ****ed up the chance and he doesn't think it'll be given. I'm not a fan by any means but his reputation is going to go before him again and people will be all over his back I'm sure. Can't see how/why you're defending him. Can't see how you think your opinion is the only one that could possibly be right.
Corky Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 One of the officials should've seen it, whether it was intentional or not (I think it was) it clearly hit his hand.
StanSP Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Wait, so if his reaction after the handball is that a free-kick may be given, why does he not go up to the referee and be honest to say it was a handball and it should be a free-kick. He loves to live up to the controversial reputation that follows him around. Loves the attention. And yes, it has happened before. Miroslav Klose did it vs Napoli last season. Scores with his hand, tells the referee not to allow it.
z-layrex Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He does that every time he scores you absolute ****disabled. It's a tattoo with his kiddys name on it and its his standard celeb. Just like shearers one hand in the air. It was ball to hand and it went in, get off the guys back you racist i know the guy isn't racist I just thought id throw that one in there for effect YOU'RE RACIST!! He still smirked at the crowd knowing he cheated. He's a coont.

You have a chip on your shoulder regarding Suarez, it's as simple as that. Yeah it would be great if everyone was perfect, but they're not.
Corky Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He was never going to admit it. He could always claim it was unintentional.
StanSP Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 How many others have though? How many other players fool the ref week in, week out and aren't 100% honest? You have a chip on your shoulder regarding Suarez, it's as simple as that. Yeah it would be great if everyone was perfect, but they're not. That plays some part, yes. But that is for good reason given all the other controversy he has put on himself before. Can you really blame me, and millions of others, for having a 'chip on our shoulder' over Suarez?? For once, why couldn't he just own up? As I said, he loves the attention and controversy he carries round.
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He didn't own up because he wants to win. He's a winner. Win at all costs. If he can get away with something and win, he will. Almost everyone would.
StanSP Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 We all want to win. No question about that. If you don't want to win you're in the wrong game. Some people just know what the barriers are and what lines not to cross when it comes to breaking the rules/laws of the game.
Voll Blau Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He didn't own up because he wants to win. He's a winner. Win at all costs. If he can get away with something and win, he will. Almost everyone would. And then do that twattish celebration to rub it in the faces of people who earn less in a year than he does in probably a couple of days. Yeah, he's a real winner in my book...
StanSP Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 And then do that twattish celebration to rub it in the faces of people who earn less in a year than he does in probably a couple of days. Yeah, he's a real winner in my book... The celebration is what he does usually. He has a tattoo of his daughter's name on his wrists. He always kisses it after scoring. I have no problem with that.
Haydos Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Like Scouse says, because he wants to win. It's a spur of the moment decision and could cost his team the match if he owns up. Players rarely do so he probably thinks why should he. About loving the attention, I really don't agree with that. He seems very reserved and is never involved with anything that happens off the pitch.
Haydos Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 That Di Canio moment was classy but it's rare that players actually go through with these things. Commend them when they do but don't berate Suarez in particular for not IMO.
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 And then do that twattish celebration to rub it in the faces of people who earn less in a year than he does in probably a couple of days. Yeah, he's a real winner in my book... The same celebration he's done for years. And because he earns loads of money he shouldn't benefit from someone else's mistake? Ok.
