Most women are too intelligent and sensible to waste so much time and energy on a hobby that causes mostly anguish and stress with only occasional pockets of joy. I'm talking about football btw - marriage isn't a hobby.

Then quite a few of those females would be there just be there tagging along with there partner. So it's hardly surprising that males out number females on a football forum.

We do of course, have a couple of wonderful examples of the fairer sex who post here, but in terms of ratios or statistics, im guessing that its something like 99.8% Male 00.2% Female My question is why? Why is footbal less popular with Females? Why is Foxestalk less popular with Females? The answer to your second question is your first. Football is more popular to men so obviously talking about it on a website will be less interesting. I imagine the historical fact that football was a man's sport for men to watch has created the first scenario. It's only recently that women have become interested in the sport and also been given the opportunity to play it without being seen as unfeminine.
