Standing outside before the match watching them bulldoze the double decker. Heartbreaking.

Getting rather nostalgic about a ground i didn't go to more than perhaps 20times. Looking at google images the stadium juat looks a fortress. A real proper ground. You know it couldn't have been half bad when you eead fans of other teams complementing it

Glad to say I went to Filbert Street a few times, but not old enough to remember it completely, just in parts. I do prefer the older grounds with more character though. Sad to see any legendary football ground getting knocked down, especially our own.

Did they not ask the fans what they wanted then? They just knocked it down and built a new one just like that?

Proper gut wrenching, I think Filbert Street helped breed a whole new generation of City fans (myself included) and to think that the youngsters of today have to put up with the KP makes me a bit sad actually.
