Lucador Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Hello my name is Mertcan. I'm from Turkey and i'm new in there.. *Sorry for my bad English.* I wanna know some information about Muzzy Izzet and have some questions. Does Izzet has a statue? What's job do now? Is he legend in Leicester? I'm really wonder about him. Thanks for the answers .
SemperEadem Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He still lives near to Leicester in a village called Fleckney. He and another club legend Steve Walsh run football courses for children.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Muzzy was one of the best players to play for Leicester in the past 30 years since I started supporting. He is one of a few players who are real legends of Leicester City. Him and Neil Lennon together were simply awesome.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He is considered to be one of Leicester's finest ever players, and the best player in our most successful team in recent times. He was not a regular in Turkey's team at the time which I found strange, but that is because you had some fantastic midfielders in the late 90s / early 00s. He started his career in Chelsea, but played for Leicester for almost all of his career, except for a couple of years at Birmingham City before he retired. He is absolutely a club legend, and I hope a statue will be forthcoming.
Lucador Posted 6 January 2013 Author Posted 6 January 2013 Voav. I wasnt wait that, you're really really much love Izzet. But we're forgot him and this is bad for us. I wish he played more in Turkey. But I'm happy now, he is legend in there. I hear that; he has a statue.. this is true?
Munshi Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 O leicester gömlek giymek için en iyi oyuncularından biri oldu. Not completely sure what it means but oh well.
smudger63 Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Hello my name is Mertcan. I'm from Turkey and i'm new in there.. *Sorry for my bad English.* I wanna know some information about Muzzy Izzet and have some questions. Does Izzet has a statue? Erm No! What's job do now? He plays golf alot! Is he legend in Leicester? Yep, a great player, that stood by us. I'm really wonder about him. Wonder no more my friend! Thanks for the answers .
Deucalion Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Google tercüme olmadan ne yapardınız? Bu arada, Türkiye'de seviyorum.
desertfox86 Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Wasn't the reason he didn't play a lot for Turkey something to do with not doing National service and they wouldn't pick him for a long time because of that. Surely Muzzy would have got in the Turkish team otherwise, even though they did have a good midfield.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Favourite player ever. In an age where most modern footballers are morally baseless mercenaries he stood by us.
Out Foxed Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 last year he built a football pitch in his back garden.
LutterworthLCFC Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Scored one of Leicesters greatest goals against Grimsby! I was there, couldn't believe it!
Rincewind Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 I recently changed my avatar to a photo of him although it isn't very good. If somebody can improve it you can have a copy or I can print one off and post it as a postcard.
ousefox Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Best player i have ever seen wear a Leicester shirt.
Corky Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Fantastic footballer for us, great servant, scored some wonderful goals and was the best set-piece taker I've seen at Leicester. He's a club legend, never slagged the club off since he left (unlike some of his team-mates) and continues to attend matches. No statue though.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Dat volleyed goal vs Spurs at Filbert Street. First time I came. Defo my favorite ever Leicester player.
AyewJoking Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 remember when the national side gave him the white boots as a reward for turkey finishing 3rd? at the world cup?
Jace Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 No statue yet but I am concidering applying for planning permission for a Muzzy Izzet statue in my garden shortly
