There’s a golf comp on 15th June at Longcliffe fundraising for LOROS. 1pm shotgun

 

I can’t say it’s been particularly well advertised (yet) as I only heard about it on the grapevine. 
 

It’s £60 a head for a non Longcliffe member, £240 for a fourball. £47.50 a head if you’re a Longcliffe member. 
 

There’s a two course meal afterwards with an auction and raffle. 
 

It’s a great opportunity to play probably the best course in the county for a really good price, whilst raising money for a charity that’s in need of finances.

Not surprised given his talent and how far he hits the ball that he's doing well stateside. 

 

I expected him to do well from the get go, but calmed the expectations with all that's been going on with his kid, seems it hasn't impacted his golf too much. Either that or it is just fuelling him even more!

As per another thread, get him teaching disadvantaged kids how to play and at least try to give him a sense of direction that he really doesn't seem to have right now.

So sad, particularly so close to The Masters and as he'd been harping on about potentially coming back and now the house of cards comes crumbling down again. I'm honestly gutted.

 

Not even because he would win, but him just being there is so great for the sport. The 2019 Masters was insane, honestly one of the greatest comebacks of all time.

 

The Three zeros on the breatherliser tells you it's painkillers/meds from all the surgeries but why oh why he doesn't just have a driver paid £50k a year to just drive him round I'll never know. He has plenty of money to take himself out of harm, particularly so close to Augusta.

 

Even if he couldn't make the main tour, having him on the Champions Tour would be amazing but even that seems a bit of a pipe dream now. 

 

It's proper heartbreaking, I thought we had got past all this in honesty and this one has to signal the end of him as a player unfortunately.
