Jace Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 we could sell Wellens to Hartlepool and loan him back in case of a midfield emergency
RyanLCFC18 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 If he becomes a United player the odds are he'l be with us soon
Haydos Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Why should Palace be allowed to have Zaha back on loan after they just sold him to United? Rule should be changed! I don't understand why clubs who sell players should be allowed to have them back on loan until the end of the season? In this case Wilfried Zaha is being sold by Palace to Man United for 15m and going back to Palace on loan until end of the season. How is this fair to everyone else in the championship? If Palace get automatic promotion and we don't as well as other clubs its not right. He has been a big part of their success and now they have sold him so that should be it. The rule has to be changed, you can't have your cake AND eat it! Do you feel a bit silly now?
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Aside from this I will say well done Ian Holloway. All your endless, boring, teadious, going on and on and on about how amazing Wilfred Zaha is has managed to land you the sale of the season so far, and you've not even lost the player in question until after the current campaign.

Out Foxed Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Palace have no money hollow head will have about 3 mill to spend
Simmo86 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Bristol City have turned down a million pound bid from Palace for Adomah. Zaha, Bolasie and Adomah not a bad attacking trio for the last 18 games or so!
Fox92 Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 15 million for Wilfred Zaha, unbelievable. Agreed. Always thought he was slightly overrated. Obviously I'm not a manager, and nowhere near the standard of Alex Ferguson, but £15million!? Overpriced imo.
Captain... Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Agreed. Always thought he was slightly overrated. Obviously I'm not a manager, and nowhere near the standard of Alex Ferguson, but £15million!? Overpriced imo. But the Jan transfer window always brings out silly money, and as I've said before the fee these days is more of an indication of the length of contract left and the competition for his signature, and the desperation of the buying and selling club. Is he worth £15 million to us? No way, is he worth £15 million to united to guarantee his signature ahead of arsenal spurs and everyone else interested, probably.

FoxyPV Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Since they spent £7m (odd) on Bebe, £15m on Zaha isn't that bad given that they'll shape and develop him into what they want
Guest MattP Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Only surprise is he didn't loan him to Peterborough.
