steveherbe Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 How the hell did we lose to kick 'n rush Uddersfield? They are bloody hopeless. On the bright side, it looks as though their potatoes are ready to be harvested. What an awful pitch!!
roachmachine Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 I couln't agree more steveherbe, a massive opportunity missed in my opinion, but just goes to show the players we have as back up are just not up to the task, god help us if we end up in the play offs with suspensions and injuries, its a lottery at the best of times, without the likes of, Wellens Gallagher Vardy and King if the main players are missing, revenue aside i'm mystified as to why we couldn't beat Huddersfield over 2 games, but then again looking at the names ive already mentioned, maybe not
lestajigs Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 And we were shiter then hopeless, we were a disgrace against um
FoxyPalace.com Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Looks like there luck is going to run out today, 2-0 down already.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Chance missed.. The Udders are shite!!
Babylon Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 just goes to show the players we have as back up are just not up to the task No it doesn't, we had 8 first choice picks playing and they were as bad as if not worse than the back up.
steveherbe Posted 17 February 2013 Author Posted 17 February 2013 Yep, we could have been half way to a last 8 spot now, with only Chelsea and Man City to worry about. Oh, forgot about the other Manchester club of course. Oh hell, Babs is on this one, it'll descend into a slanging match any minute now
Grewks Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 No it doesn't, we had 8 first choice picks playing and they were as bad as if not worse than the back up. Have to agree with you on this one. IMO, taken into account all of the factors (playtime etc.), Nuge was worse against huddersfield than futacs.
Fox92 Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Don't think we wanted to win, deep down. I'm just pleased we took 6 points from them this season.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Bad news... Huddersfield are shite Good news.... Danns looks shite too...
Libertine Dream Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Huddersfield have been truly shit, had we wanted to win we would have done
Rincewind Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 I was thinking same as OP. How did we lose to them? They are rubbish today. Whethet we would have beaten Wigan we will not know.
Corky Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Danns has done his usual, lots of effort but little end product.
reynard Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 What a wasted opportunity. Terrible match. Huddersfield were awful I don't beleive we would have lost 4-1 to a very ordinary Wigan team. Just shows how poor we can be though.
Fox92 Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Would like to have seen how we would have done against Wigan. They are a good team away from home.
foxesfan1989 Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 The Huddersfield players seem to know they are TV. Constantly going for the spectacular option and embarrassing themselves. Look like a pub team who has been given a big day out, hope we would have fared better.
Guest Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 We should have been qualifying for the next round. Shame on Pearson Shame on the players Shame on the club.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Could've been Everton away. That would've been a tough ask. Not too disappointed now!
Danizen Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Could've been Everton away. That would've been a tough ask. Not too disappointed now! If we're talking hypotheticals, Wigan would have murdered us.
Super_horns Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 TBF Wigan do seem to be good against lower leagues side apart from Bradford...
davieG Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Would have like a trip to Goodison Park in all my years of following football that's one ground i've never managed to go to even though back in the day I had mate who was a massive toffee's fan.
Maybes Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Huddersfield were poor. Huddersfield are poor. We should have despatched them like we did in the league with the player we have at our disposal. They'll do well to stay in this league again.
Fox92 Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Could've been Everton away. That would've been a tough ask. Not too disappointed now! If we would have beaten Wigan, yeah Everton away. Would have been a great day out though, Goodison is a ground I've never visited but really want too.
