Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 All the motivation I need to lending my voice to give WWE seven hours of Hell come April. I hoped for a great show, but more than a terrible show I feared mediocrity. I'm getting my $500 worth. Bring it on.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Oh, and they can forget me going to the O2 in April. If I've got any money left I'll spend it on going to see Revolution Pro Wrestling.
Ross-Kemp Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Massive push for Reigns. Shield will split now, can't believe the most over guy on the roster (Bryan) wasn't even in the rumble !
darko2k7 Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Well Batista winning certainly didn't get the crowd buzzing like wwe thought it would . Boo's were very loud from the moment he entered as it was obvious he would win and therefore he has come across as being handed the win without any work being put in. They'd be better to turn him heal going off that reaction for him as a face . Terrible rumble IMO only good match was bryan v bray wyatt the rest was p*ss
Hugo Sanchez Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 What a waste of money but I'll give the crowd credit they shit all over it. THIS IS AWFUL and booing batista was quality. WWE have no idea.
LCFC1996 Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Poor Rey, if number 30 wasn't Bryan, whoever got it was gonna get shit all over, Rey became the sacrificial lamb
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 The only bit of justice I have had is that Skybet refunded my £20 that I put on Daniel Bryan as soon as he lost to Bray.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Only good thing about the show was the crowd. Chanting 'this is awful' in the Cena match, and then chanting 'Daniel Bryan ' through it ha. The Rumble itself pissed me off most. Ziggler is another guy who is well liked and over with the crowd. Got eliminated far too early, hence the boos at that time. From then on it was all booing and quite right. I knew Rey was gonna be number 30 as he was in the promo just before the ppv. Disgusting that Bryan wasnt in the rumble at all though really was. And more boos when Punk got screwed. Only good thing that happened was the Reigns face turn and the crowd reaction to him when vs Batista. Crock of shit
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 The crowd were chanting for Bryan throughout the Cena Orton mach as well, so for WWE to completely disregard Bryan after the match he had with Bray, to lose and then not be seen again for the rest of the night was ridiculous. The worst part was I didn't see that Rey promo so had no idea he would of been number 30, when the countdown started I got so excited for Daniel Bryan and to see him come out was a massive kick in the balls. I cheered when Rey got elimanted, such a pathetic performance the number 30 spot. ] Like most of you have said Roman Reigns is the only good thing to come from the Rumble match, loved his performance and will be glad to see him leave The Shield. The Bray Wyatt coming out to interfere in the Cena Orton match will probably lead to Cena v Bray at the Elimination Chamber. God knows what is going to happen at the Elimination Chamber, certainly won't be paying for the bastard thing. No sight of HHH and Stephanie at all.
kingfox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Worst Royal Rumble I've ever seen. I actually saw the promo, so as Rey didn't come in before number 30, I knew he would be last. So to some extent, the crowd were a bunch of thick twats. The booing was certainly deserved though, and it was pretty disappointing not to see Bryan in it, as well as Bray Wyatt, when it said after his match against Bryan, that he would be in the Rumble, unless I heard wrong. Batista winning it is the biggest pile of shit ever, he only came back last week, he doesn't deserve it, and it isn't fair for the other WWE superstars. The only thing what makes sense out of that, is a storyline and match with Randy Orton, which will be boring anyway. As most have said on here, best thing to come out of that was Roman Reigns, he was one superstar I wanted to get a push sooner rather than later, excellent superstar he is, will definitely break from the Shield now, but I even liked him when he was part of them. Bryan v Wyatt was the best match, I didn't mind some bits of Cena v Orton, but the ending of that was crap, but hardly surprising. Rating 2/10
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 Bray Wyatt v John Cena Kane v CM Punk Sheamus v anyone Orton v Batista Boring'ell.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 The reaction has been so negative, it's made BBC Newsbeat and The Independent.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 Bloody hell. I'm dreading the opening of Raw tonight, a Batista Orton promo.. Yawn. I'd love a Daniel Bryan pipebomb!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Daniel Bryan to job to the Big Show at Wrestlemania, I'm calling it now
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 After last night I'm predicting something quite big for DB, no chance WWE will ignore the fans, let a lone the fans who weren't there and the media surrounding the Rumble. Monumental **** up, which with the hysteria caused will only mean bigger business when DB eventually gets that push.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 After last night I'm predicting something quite big for DB, no chance WWE will ignore the fans, let a lone the fans who weren't there and the media surrounding the Rumble. Monumental **** up, which with the hysteria caused will only mean bigger business when DB eventually gets that push. I can't see anything other than Bryan vs Triple H in a passing the torch kind of match, there must be a lot more to come in this story, hopeful of a good raw tonight.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Actually really pissed me off and hoping for some thing better in raw tonight. Gets me annoyed I'm going to two shows in May and its gonna be crap rivalries like Batista and Orton which have been done to death. Also think Punk will take time off after WM and wont be on the tour.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 They won't do it, they're trying to Ziggler him. Yeah i think that too, they way Ziggler gets booked etc since his WHC reign has been a disgrace, hence the boos when he got eliminated
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 I can't see anything other than Bryan vs Triple H in a passing the torch kind of match, there must be a lot more to come in this story, hopeful of a good raw tonight. Punk v HHH written all over WM, Punk v Kane at the Chamber leading to Punk v HHH. They won't do it, they're trying to Ziggler him. Yeah maybe, Ziggler was never this over though.
Libertine Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Urrrrrggggghhllll. It's 2006-2009 all over again.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 The New Age Outlaws being the tag champions is the funniest thing I've seen in a while.
Libertine Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 The New Age Outlaws being the tag champions is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I actually don't mind that as they'll no doubt put someone over at Mania. Usos I assume.
Jace Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I think the the 'this is awful' chant during the Cena Orton match summed it up for me
