blueharmie Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 All bullshitting. No one has a clue what's going on let's be honest.
stevelcfc Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 God has just touched me and told me that Pearson is not going to be sacked today, nothing to do with my instinct picking up it is 9:23pm
blueharmie Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Perhaps just a normal ish day at he office. Np is chillin out at home watchin barca and laughing at this thread ?
TrentFox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 That this forum is full of bullshitting idiots? That would imply it was at some point 'unofficial'. And I don't think that's ever been the case, has it !!!???
lestajigs Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Off the topic, Brighton are only drawing, how many ****ing chances are we getting
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Perhaps just a normal ish day at he office. Np is chillin out at home watchin barca and laughing at this thread ? That sounds about fookin right . . . . .
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Off the topic, Brighton are only drawing, how many ****ing chances are we getting Good result that, now 12th time lucky for NP to break this mini hoodoo that's going on, ohh hang on its away at flipping Brighton!!!! A certain 2-0 defeat then?
lestajigs Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Good result that, now 12th time lucky for NP to break this mini hoodoo that's going on, ohh hang on its away at flipping Brighton!!!! A certain 2-0 defeat then? It's in our hands once again, these guys need to pull a performance out the bag, massive game?! Yea your right 2.0 them
flowwolf Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I know we're in shocking form but I really can't understand why Pearson is getting so much hate. Sven got nothing like this and did a worse job and spent shit loads. I don't even think Holloway got half as much stick as this. Ridiculous. Because like you he's boring.
Danny1971lcfc Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Please don't start the whole Steve Walsh debate again. Only for the last few games, he has passion at least
LJS Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 To try winning them. Because we haven't a bloody hope as things stand.
Mister Pastry Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Fact is Nige is going nowhere, he won't fall on his sword and if the owners sack him now he get's a whopping payout. If they sack him when it is mathematically impossible to get promotion or we have lost in the play-offs, then he he gets a minimal payout. It is a clause in his contract, Anything less than promotion is failure.and he is ultimately responsible and will pay the price. He should walk but he won't.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Not gone yet. When was the announcement expected? 5pm today wasn't it. Incredible demonstration of loyalty if they stick with him. While many won't agree I'll be very impressed by that kind of commitment to sustainable, long term success.

Makes sense I suppose, but he will leave as a "confirmed" failure rather than a "probably" that's fine with me because I think it's too late for anyone to save us now and the Thais won't have to rush in finding a replacement
biggs Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 The only City manager I have ever called to be sacked was the totally inept Peter Taylor. However something is clearly wrong with the team at the moment and it seems that they have lost interest in playing for Nigel Pearson. This being the case and also it seems now that the majority of fans want to see him gone, then I feel that the owners must act in the best interests of the club. So goodbye Nigel, let's move on. Lost interest in playing for him......the whole team? Certainly hope not. 6 games left to put it together and if not, you can throw the blame on any player(s) that gave up and pulled a fu**ing tantrum to get his manager fired. All this fixation on one man when how many of the eleven on the pitch are stinking it up. Do any players on this team have the balls to put this fire out and turn this mess around? F**k I hope so

F**k I hope so Quality post. The players need the shoulder some responsibility. He bought most of them here in good faith that they would work as a team to better our club. Admittedly some of Pearsons decisions have been strange to say the least. But when the lads cross that line what more can Pearson do? If Kingy wants to wimp out of a tackle, Wood doesn jump, Konch takes too many touches, Kasper kicks it out too quick, Waggy hits the bar, Vardy misses entirely - what more can Pearson do? Sub them all?

LJS Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 I agree that we should be aiming for sustainability. I disagree that a manager who has spent ten million to earn three more points is the way to do it though. I think some of the pro-Pearson lot assume the rest of us want him out for the sake of instant success. That's unfair. I'd happily give a bloke three or four years if I saw progress. But I don't see it under Pearson. I don't think he will ever win promotion at this level. I'd like the next bloke, should Pearson go, to be given less money and more time. Pearson was never about sustainability. He was brought in to please the fans. The owners wanted a quick promotion as they did with Sven. Why do you think he has been handed so much cash? Pearson and his team have brought in some good players. They have a talent for that and deserve credit for it. But I don't think they're great at managing them once they get here. Let somebody else come and build on their foundations, like Bruce has at Hull.

If you can't see progress under Pearson then you ain't looking very hard or are wilfully ignoring it.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 a fans a fan you **** I didn't go either, but I dont call for a managers head over a game I'm not even at. If he was at the game the ops comments would immediately be more valid to me. If he's basing them on Jason Bourne and Youngy I'd ignore them. I also find most of the fans who've wanted Pearson out from the off haven't set foot in the ground this season yet seem to be more vocal
