Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Have some patience, I've been assured its happening, although, granted, 5pm has now passed. Fingers crossed, something needs to happen
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Have some patience, I've been assured its happening, although, granted, 5pm has now passed. Is your mate a ref by any chance? They always have something against us. Allegedly.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Oi...I may have a head like a badger but I got these trainers from Matalan !! Well I unreservedly apologise then, I would have held you in even higher regard if you shopped at Jacomo
Legend_in_blue Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Ricky Hill hasn't changed his clocks. Patience people.
wurmer Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 What makes everyone think they are going to do something?
promised land Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Ricky Hill hasn't changed his clocks. Patience people. Neither has Foxes Talk yet. Also I have just come off the M1 at LFE and a car with blacked out windows was heading to the Marriott........
Chrysalis Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 read a few posts on my phone but then gave up as way too many. To those saying he should stay I think you are living in dreamland. The way I see it is this. The club means more than pearson, he is an employee in a job he knows is based on results. It seems some people care more for pearson than the club. Realistically if pearson stays he wont recover our form. Its not going to happen. I suspect he has had one too many player fall outs now and its showing, plus as well as his tactical and coaching failures (strikers turning to poo, players cant pass and gets out done by other managers). If he fails to get us up (even if recovers to top 6) he is very likely gone in the summer. So ultimately we all know he is 99% chance gone in the summer, so why keep him now the last few games? New manager syndrome often alone gets a few wins, and I think even if we had no manager our results would pick up (yes current form is that bad). Our best chance of promotion now is sacking pearson and recalling all players out on loan so the new guy has a full squad to pick from.
Burmesefox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Just posted this elsewhere: it is possible to get in to the play offs, of course it is possible to get promotion but what I have seen has led me to believe that I don't want promotion this season as we are not ready. For me it would be better to grow organically as Cardiff have done. We looked like doing that this season but our recent form has been some of the worst I have experienced since my first supporting days of 1981 and is the form of a freefalling relegation bound club in crisis not that of a club with a stable assured attitude towards success. The question for me is not one of the short term (i.e promotion this season) but is one of a longer term plan for longevity in the top flight. Now, can NP turn this around and gain us promotion next season with an automatic spot and some great football to boot? Well, back in January I would have said it is possible. Now I am thinking that something has gone totally wrong behind the scenes. I honestly can't ever recall a swing in fortunes to the negative that I have seen this past 8 weeks. It may not be NP's fault but if we require a change in management to secure promotion next season then so be it. Yes, we could wait until the end of the season but then we would have to appoint a new manager whilst into the summer, he would have to settle in and judge players by training sessions and not real match time and then he would have to enter the transfer market as a later stage too which would have a greater negative impact on the start of the season than making a change now. A change of manager now is admittance that we are not good enough to go up yet and is actually looking at next season - so is actually less of a short term knee jerked reaction.

Buzzell Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 What makes everyone think they are going to do something? Because Ricky Hill said so!
lestajigs Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Because Ricky Hill said so! Starting to think this is bullshit
Happy Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 The Mirror Reports they are usually fairly accurate as far as City are concerned mentioned Hughes...
Ricky Hill Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I'll definitely know more tonight, but looks like the owners want a new boss ready to go before anything 'official' happens. Will update asap
cc_star Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 If Hughes or anyone is appointed, I hope we keep this SACK HIM NOW!!! thread open. You can never start too early
lestajigs Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I'll definitely know more tonight, but looks like the owners want a new boss ready to go before anything 'official' happens. Will update asap Good lad
Rusko187 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 If I recall the Sven sacking didn't happen until 7pm. We haven't really heard anything from the club today either aside from our u21s + logan having a cracking game.
LJS Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 No reason to disbelieve Ricky Hill. He was right on Pearson and anyway, why would anybody come on here to make stuff up? I'm sure he isn't motivated by the prospect of looking a prat.
Rusko187 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Players are just not playing for the manger. Please on more big name mangers who failed have at premier clubs.Maybe wait until end of the season to late. Urgh.... whut?
