Sack him now!

I think if he was being axed he would have been by now, he's staying.

Not necessarily - Adkins was fired after Southampton managed to draw 2-2 at Chelsea after being 2-0 down at half-time. The decision was made beforehand but wasn't undertaken until the replacement was lined up. Could well be the case here - there's options available, and it could well be that our owners are in talks with one/several managers, but not to announce anything until it's set in stone.

There's a good chance that Pearson will remain, however I wouldn't be surprised if he is replaced after the weekend, regardless of the result against Brighton

You know some so he's wrong? Good logic.

babylon let him answer it he does not need you to answer for him or does he

I think the board will hang on to Pearson this season, and sack him at the end.

We can still make the playoffs, but we will never win them. I would sack him now, but financially it will make more sense if the board waits until the end of the season.

Bottom line, no promotion.

Does look like he's staying now. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope the fans "get behind the team" from now on. Any anti-pearson chants could seriously affect the players already fragile confidence in his management

Why does there habe to a reason other than inexperience amongst other things? People talk about man utd having know how on how to win a title and other teams who don't. It's similar here IMO. Too much too soon, beginner's luck perhaps even.

Cardiff have bottled it frequently, Boro are in free fall more so than us. Every season there's a team who drops like a stone and every season there's a team who rockets up.

Look at Birmingham this weekend. They go to palace and win 4-0. Two days later they're 3-0 down at half time at home to Wolves!

It's just the nature of football, and this time it's our turn to suffer. I read no more to it than that as gut wrenching as these last two months have been

No team plummets like we have and still recovers to win a play-off place and gain promotion, it's not been done in this nature. So why stand by and allow the current manager more time to probably do the same next season? We NEED promotion, it's a decision that needs to be taken. This alarming run indicates to me there's problems.

Middlesborough have now done this 2 seasons on the spin, Mowbray is a dead man walking.

Cardiff did it several seasons on the spin and Jones was disposed of, they're now going up.

Can I smoke some of the stuff you're having?

Playoffs still within reach with six games to go.

'Still within reach'

So we've gone from 'we could catch Cardiff' to 'we're stil in the playoffs' to this.

What is the person in question going to do to you?

Speak out man and tell us

He may not do anything but he might get the sack from his job which presumably is not worth telling someone on a public forum where a bit of knowledge has come from.

Would you like to be relegated to League One instead?

If your personal expectations for this season aren't met, not my problem.

It was fun to be in second spot, but let's be honest - we got there with a fair share of riding lady luck and flattered to convince.

A vast majority on here was looking forward to a Top Ten finish at the start of the season and it looks like that's just what we're getting.

Luck? Really? I think we probably played the league's best football in the first half of the season. If you want luck, have a look at that team top of the league. Painfully effective.

Well if the vast majority were happy with a top 10 position after all the money that has been pumped in to the club it doesn't say much for their expectations.

I expect better but then I've seen us play at the top level many times and want and expect us to be back there.

Now what? Lucky or effective? Or a combination of both? Or maybe just a lot more consistent that the rest of the league with an outrageously big chunk of money to spend?

Why?

We don't have a god-given right to be in the Premier League.

As much as I'd love to see us back there, sadly we're not the only ones competing for that prize and have been hindered massively by an incompetent management team, mediocre seasons under Mandaric and a very heartbreaking relegation to League One.

Last ten years have been pure turmoil, with us always on the brink of going bust.

And I thought these years of hardship have taught a lot of other Leicester City fans to stay on the ground with both feet.

It's like being in a candy shop with a really painfully obnoxious kid who's desperately longing for some of the items on sale.

If your happy to have low expectations that is your choice.

We are one of the best suported teams in the country with owners who have backed the last 2 managers, I expect us to be in the top 6 and easily so, unfortunately, for me, we have the wrong manager.

Football fans shouldn't be expected to be realistic, the majority wouldn't go if they were.

Looked absolute shit every time I've seen them but happen to have a very good keeper, a very solid defence and the odd goal from decent forwards.

Unfortunately their style is how you get out of this league. The previous winners were all the same.

This season for me at least will be nothing short of a total disaster if we dont at least finish in the play-offs, however we are obviously not getting rid of Big Nige so lets get behind the team for these last few no doubt dissapointing results

lol What?!

We had a top 10 finish last season and it was crap, why would we be looking forward to that again?

A few weeks before the season started I was expecting top 8, but not play-offs. By November I realised our team was actually better than I thought it would be and thought the play-offs was on.

From what I saw of the team up until February I can say with absolute confidence that I believed we could get automatic promotion, and was 90% sure wed get in the play-offs at least.

The last 2 months have been a disaster, lets be honest.

You're in a minority if you would have been happy with top 10. Financially, top 10 isn't even an option.

It'll have been a shit season anyway considering that we were strong favorites to win the league. But then again, so were Blackburn, Wolves and Bolton.

I agree fully with Kitchandro. Top 10 isn't a good season at all. I was strongly defending our over-expectation when Pearson was getting slated for us being in about 3rd or 4th, but I can safely say dropping from 2nd to 7th in a mere two months goes as a huge black mark against any manager.

We've lost a worryingly high number of games. 15 defeats is fvcking appalling.

Hi lads, i'm a long term reader first time poster. but i'm a good mate of someone who works at the club (can't say what role to protect his identity). I'm hearing rumours Pearson is gonna get sacked on Thursday and the owners have been talking to Ron Atkinson since the loss on Monday. They want a big man with experience to get back in the play offs and have promised big ron millions for transfers if he can get us promoted. theres gonna be a press conference on friday morning to announce big ron in. first game in charge saturday.
