Corky Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Benitez could also walk in, i mean it sounds like its a done deal there new manager will be named soon. Are we going to have your list of names who could take over? Benitez, Pellegrini, Mourinho, Saunders etc?
DB11 Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 13th May 2012: Manchester City win the Premier League. 13th May 2013: Roberto Mancini sacked by Manchester City.
iamafox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Mancini didn't deserve the sack imo. It's only one season with no trophies. But just explain to me how Wenger still has a job after eight seasons without any trophies? Surely Man City are no bigger than Arsenal?
Brooksy Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 13th May 2012: Manchester City win the Premier League. 13th May 2013: Roberto Mancini sacked by Manchester City. Football's a funny old game eh?
Jon the Hat Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 @talkSPORTgeoff: RT @facoachjd The managers who won last season's Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Premier League & Championship have all been sacked.
MC Prussian Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 That's really harsh on Mancini. He's got the third best winning percentage in the Premier League, helped the club finish in the Top Two for the second year running, three domestic trophies and introduced the club to the Champions League. Madness.
ScouseFox Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Am I the only one who doesn't think this is "madness" or "shocking" at all? He almost managed to throw the league away last year and then won nothing this year. A monkey could've guided City to a distant second ahead of a joke of a Chelsea set up and miles and miles behind United. When you win the league and your next challenge is to win it again whilst challenging in Europe and your main summer signing is Jack Rodwell you deserve sacking.
Petrolnize Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 In this day last year, led by Mancini Manchester City reverse Queens Park, Manchester United win the league reversed, how high-spirited! This today, Mancini but was the club sacked, how lonely! Not years, two things only only 5 hours! Moment Mancini class announced in Manchester City, Manchester United ongoing league title paraded through the streets to celebrate, this is how sad laughing and crying script, this is football, only God could write this script!
