AKCJ Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Andy merely stated that Barkley "can play" that role - if needed. He didn't say that Barkley actually does play in that role for Everton right now. I don't see what's there to slag off other than you just being your repetitious self, belittling other posters with the regular use of "ridiculous", "don't bother replying" and "argument over" when in fact, they do have a point. Don't expect sense out of him mate.
AKCJ Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 How can you say he 'can play' that role when he has never played there for Everton? That is just ridiculous and makes you look an absolute fool. Don't try and justify what he said. What are you even doing getting involved? You really are obsessed, worrying really. Getting involved? lol lol It's a forum mate.
Uncle Albert Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 So this "argument" (which has really just been a succession of you picking up on one point of my posts and writing things like "embarrassing" despite the fact you think Henderson is one of our best midfielders) is over because Barkley hasn't played in the "2" for Everton under Martinez? He's a box to box player, he can play a defensive role, you've obviously not watched him if you don't think that? Besides, and this is my fault I should have reworded it differently, it's not that I think he should start iin that position, but he can cover it should we get injuries which is the whole point of having a squad like that for the World Cup. We need players who can play in different positions. Sick of this now, you're turning out to be a right **** when I thought you were one of the decent outsiders. Again I have never said Henderson is one of our best midfielders, I said it would be travesty if he wasn't on the plane to Brazil, I merely said that he has been one of the better midfielders in England this season and since the end of 2012, consistent. You can't say someone can play in a role that he has never played before, that is just ridiculous. Again, "I'll leave the childish insults to the children."
Uncle Albert Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Don't expect sense out of him mate. Oh the irony.

Surely implying that he's one of our best? lol Christ this is like pulling teeth now. But he's played a defensive role in seasons before this and, while he's not shone admittedly, he knows the role and could cover should he need to. Stop with your petty "holier than thou" attitude when it comes to your opinions. I can't be doing with arguing with people like you. You're boring, obsessive and just plain old sad. I'm leaving this argument now. I'll even let you have the 'last say', that'll make you feel really assertive won't it? I hope your children don't call you a ****. But then again, they probably do.
Dan Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Used to love Mourinho in his first spell here, especially how he managed the media. We finally had another manager like that. But he just annoys me at times now. Couldn't hear everything he said on MOTD yesterday, but it was something along the lines of West Ham came for a point. So what, what does he expect, every team to attack? Yet when he went to Old Trafford earlier in the season he played without a recognized striker... When they lost to Everton earlier in the season he claimed they were lucky, before calling West Brom boring. Much prefer City to win the league over Chelsea. It just annoys me when you get this so called know it all and experts trying to justify it as being some moment of genius from Mourinho to make comments like that to get under the skin of the opposition when it's just embarrassing hypocrisy. Not having a pop at his ability as a manager but he is a hypocrite and the novelty's well and truly dead and buried.

I implied he has been one of the better English midfielders yeah, stats dont lie I'm afraid. Therefor, it would be a travesty if Henderson wasn't on the Plane to Brazil. No he hasn't, stop saying things that are completely ridiculous. I can handle people's opinions, I just can't handle people who come out with utter garbage and make absurd things up to try and make their point look good, nothing I have said about Henderson is way off the mark, got the stats to show what I have said. You? You have listed footballers who aren't good enough to play for England, stats show it and then berated that a footballer in Ross Barkley can play the anchor role, when there is no evidence to suggest he can play there. So maybe yeah I have come across as arrogant, that is purely down to your stupidity. Wow, that last line sums you up. For the record I don't have children, unlike yourself I will be able to have them, you on the other hand, you're not going to find a bloke to insert a penis into your vagina, you are a complete bitch. (Yes I guess you are a male, it's the women like traits you have that makes me think different)

He used to have an arrogance about him, an arrogance he earned which I like in Football. But now he's so petty, hypocritical and just boring.
Uncle Albert Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Seems we are in for Konoplyanka (Dnipro) and M'Vila (Rubin Kazan), late business. Step up Ian Ayre, you have 24 hours to mess this up..
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 What the **** is M'Vila doing at Rubin?! Crazy. Dollar I suppose but still. Good signing that, not least because he really reminds me of Stringer Bell.
Darkon84 Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 What the **** is M'Vila doing at Rubin?! Crazy. Dollar I suppose but still. Good signing that, not least because he really reminds me of Stringer Bell. Was just about to post this. He had Europe's top clubs all after him at one point. My memory might be a little hazy, but did he choose to stay in France for an extra 6 months or year, instead of taking one of the big moves, then his form dropped as his ego inflated, and when nobody wanted to put up with him, he opted for the big cash at Rubin. I suppose he'd at least be able to afford a thick coat out there. Two other un-named Premier League clubs in for Konoplyanka as well.

Finnegan Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 If I'm getting this right, Konoplyanka is the Ukrainian Messi and Yarmolenko the Ukrainian Ronaldo?

Apparently Spurs are the other team, not heard anything on there being another. Out of the two I would make M'Vila the main target, would be addressing an area that we desperately need. Konoplyanka would be a bit of a luxury player, wouldn't mind going in for him in the Summer if we could only get the one. Sterling is having a good season and has been in good form. M'Vila is very close to Sakho, which could help, M'Vila was at the Merseyside Derby in the 3-3 draw as Sakho's guest, sat in the away end.

Hadn't heard Spurs linked, but wouldn't be surprised if they want to sack off Lamela. I'd expect M'vila to be the main target too, considering what's happened to Lucas. Would be a great signing if he can find his form from a few years ago (to be honest, he may be bang on form now, but I've no idea how Rubin are doing etc to be honest). Would love to see Konoplyanka and Yarmolenko in the Prem at some point.

Good signing that, not least because he really reminds me of Stringer Bell. My mate who works for Football Radar says M'Vila has been poor for about 18 months now and has lost all of the attention he was getting from the top sides. The Rennes fans had started booing him as he had been that bad last season, if they did get ten million for him he thinks its robbery Can't get near the France squad either now.

Uncle Albert Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Sam Allardyce is a disgrace, 13th highest paid manager in the world and he's won 4 games this season, Cardiff twice, Fulham and Spurs.
Guest MattP Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Can't stand Big Sam but I loved that, exactly the way to respond.
AKCJ Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Sam Allardyce is a disgrace, 13th highest paid manager in the world and he's won 4 games this season, Cardiff twice, Fulham and Spurs. I don't see how his wage is relevant. He's given that and it has no bearing on the table. Look at his squad and tactics, that's why he's in the shit. I do like him though. For the same reasons I like Mick McCarthy.
Uncle Albert Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 If I'm getting this right, Konoplyanka is the Ukrainian Messi and Yarmolenko the Ukrainian Ronaldo? Twitter is referring Konoplyanka as the Ukranian Neymar mate, I'd take either references. I don't see how his wage is relevant. He's given that and it has no bearing on the table. All I'm saying a manager who's won 4 games in a season shouldn't be the 13th highest paid manager in world football. You like Mick McCarthy and Sam Allardyce? Well if that's not adding to my argument from earlier.. Wait, you're not replying or arguing with me, I apologise.

True he shouldn't be near the bottom, but just because he's the 13th most paid manager in the world, it doesn't mean that he's the 13th best. I like how they're not afraid to say what they think in interviews.
