Dan Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Palace are actually gonna do this. Fair play to Pulis.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 It will be a travesty if Jordan Henderson isn't on the plane to Brazil. God help us.
Stadt Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Nah, they were just out played in every department.Yeah so they didn't show up
MC Prussian Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 God help us. Henderson would have to prove a lot of doubters wrong and deliver an outstanding last couple of months before the World Cup to be considered in Roy's plans.
Bert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 God help us.He's having the best season of his career so far. Why shouldn't he go?
Bobby Hundreds Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 He's having the best season of his career so far. Why shouldn't he go? Not saying he shouldn't go, it's just the hopelessness of it all.
Bert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Not saying he shouldn't go, it's just the hopelessness of it all.But he'll be there on merit?
Dan Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 If Henderson doesn't go it sums up everything wrong with the England national team. Though I think under Hodgson we've moved on from slightly from reputation over performance.
Super_horns Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Palace are actually gonna do this. Fair play to Pulis. I remember a few Palace fans didn't want him due to his style of football - probably aren't too fussed now.
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Wookie, on 29 Jan 2014 - 08:45 AM, said:Yeah so they didn't show up There's a different between getting fairly well beaten and not turning up. If you think Everton 'didn't turn up' then you could say the same about Derby when we beat them? ... I know an Everton STH who went last night, and even he said they were just well beaten. Is it on the day, or is it by the better team? Well I guess we'll have to wait to see who finishes above the other at the end of the season.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 But he'll be there on merit? I've just booked the 14th July off for the inevitable street party and triumphant homecoming of our boys.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 God help us. You have shown your lack of knowledge regarding the Premier League enough recently, Cabaye and now saying this about Jordan Henderson. Henderson has had a much better season than our very own Gazza in Jack Wilshire, but he will be ahead of Henderson. Yeah so they didn't show up Not at all, we were just a much better side, Everton didn't play that bad I didn't think, we were just better in every area of the pitch. Henderson would have to prove a lot of doubters wrong and deliver an outstanding last couple of months before the World Cup to be considered in Roy's plans. Obsessed. How many times have you seen Jordan Henderson play this season? That's a serious question as well. Because if you had you would see he has already proven a lot of doubters wrong and he has been outstanding all season. Not saying he shouldn't go, it's just the hopelessness of it all. Hopeless that we are selecting our players on form? Instead of picking players like Tom Cleverley because he plays for Man United. Goooood one. There's a different between getting fairly well beaten and not turning up. Spot on!
Bobby Hundreds Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Hopeless that we are selecting our players on form? Instead of picking players like Tom Cleverley because he plays for Man United. Goooood one. No, hopeless because Jordan Henderson is one of the worst players to ever represent England and highlights the absolute dearth of quality currently within our international set-up.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 No, hopeless because Jordan Henderson is one of the worst players to ever represent England and highlights the absolute dearth of quality currently within our international set-up. Seriously, you are making yourself look really stupid, stop now. This is the same Henderson (one of the worst to represent England) who came on for England v Italy in a quarter final in 2012 who stopped Pirlo from dictating the game in extra-time, or was that another one? You're a Leicester fan, you surely can't have seen much of Jordan Henderson this season? Or are you admitting that your opinion on a player is purely based on Match of the Day? Cabaye has had a few half decent games and now Jordan Henderson going to Brazil would be useless? Go to bed.
MC Prussian Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Henderson looked way out of his depth on the wing and the first two years upon his move to Liverpool, he didn't justify the hefty £20m price tag. I admit he's improved a lot, mainly thanks to operating more from central midfield, where he's more at ease. Maybe the transfer fee misguided a lot of people, and led to many thinking how he could ever live up to the expectations in connection to such a hefty sum. He's talented, no doubt. But whether he's good enough to go to Brazil remains to be seen. The next two months will be crucial. Btw, how often do you go to matches at Anfield, UA?

Well it's a good job we didn't pay £20million for him then isn't it? How isn't he good enough for Brazil, seriously? Who right now is performing better than Henderson in that position? 5 games this season Prussian, not a bad return I don't think.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 This is the same Henderson (one of the worst to represent England) who came on for England v Italy in a quarter final in 2012 who stopped Pirlo from dictating the game in extra-time, or was that another one? My word. EPLbantz is off the charts with this one. #respect
Uncle Albert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 My word. EPLbantz is off the charts with this one. #respect Stop just picking out certain areas of a post because you're being proven wrong. Henderson did do well when England played Italy, everyone could see that.
Kitchandro Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Seriously, you are making yourself look really stupid, stop now. I'm not being funny but there is this thing called Sky Sports which has a load of live Liverpool matches on, then there's game of the day etc, live England matches.....
Uncle Albert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 I'm not being funny but there is this thing called Sky Sports which has a load of live Liverpool matches on, then there's game of the day etc, live England matches..... Well then that is adding to my point of him making himself look stupid, that show's the lad has no relevant opinion on Football, if he can't see that Henderson is having a fantastic season with all the chances he has to watch him well that says it all.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Put the FIFA 14 controller down lad. the lad has no relevant opinion on Football, You know what they say about opinions.
Dan Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 I remember a few Palace fans didn't want him due to his style of football - probably aren't too fussed now. I do wonder what he'll do for them in the long-term. I get the feeling he'll not get them much higher than this.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Put the FIFA 14 controller down lad. You know what they say about opinions. What on earth does FIFA 14 have to do with this?! You think Cababye has had two half decent games for Newcastle! You think Jordan Henderson is hopeless! You're an absolute helmet, ridiculous football opinions.
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Didn't Henderson score and make more goals than Carrick last season? Yet I'm guessing the same people would be quick to select Carrick for the squad. (Quite different players and I do rate Carrick before anyone mentions it).
Bert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Don't even think Loft would deny that in the early stages of his Liverpool career, Henderson didn't live up to his hype, price tag and potential. But now he's settled, he's playing the best football of his life for a team (albeit slim) chasing the title? I don't get the Cleverley hate (partly due to a slight bias towards him, admittedly) but Henderson deserves to be ahead of him at the minute.
