Yeah I find it really confusing, I remember at Kasierslautern they classed my job status as Untouchable but the job status remains low as feck lol

 

Yeah it didn't take long to get to untouchable on 13. Looks like it'll be a bit of a mission on this one!

Turkey won on pens aswell, this is beyond bizarre.

thats nothing, in my game, leicester won the johnstones paint trophy last season, england thrashed a team 11-0 in a freindly, and won the world cup in my first year. bonkers

Getting wound up with this game already, before i've even started, for some reason it won't install.

 

Think it's something to do with Steam.

 

Wish i'd bought Fifa for my PS3 now! FFS!

TBH I don't get Fifa every year because apart from updated teams, e.t.c, how much different can a football game be?!

 

FM I can understand how they can change things, make things different, add things to the game but a football game like Fifa, i'm not really keen on because not alot can be changed year to year, do you know what I mean.

 

I do like Fifa as a game though, don't think i've had a Fifa game since 2010 so i'm due one, maybe after christmas, might have even got it for christmas, or a voucher or something - I did think it was abit of a risk buying FM today incase i'd be bought it for christmas! lol

FIFA World Cup 2010 was the last decent FIFA game imo. 14 is absolute shit.

Yeah you're better off persisting with FM 14 and trying to get it to work than getting FIFA 14 lol

 

Yeah i've got FM14 sorted now, it's installing, although taking it's time.

 

Is Fifa14 really that bad?! I've not read or seen anything about it, not really took any interest so this is quite a shock to hear really.

It's nowhere near as good as it was made out to be or hyped up to be. It can be quite buggy and temperamental. In past seasons I'd be quite excited about starting a pro career or doing a normal career mode. Now though, I can't get in to it at all and just end up playing tournaments with friends or my brother. Haven't tried online either this year.

The first two are nothing special but the last :mellow: (lol)

 

Some of these things are ridiculous. Russia v Turkey in a World Cup final ffs. Croatia won it as well on my other game. I think there are some seriously unrealistic goings on this time round. Lorient wouldn't win the bloody league.

Yeah that's another thing I can't get excited about with Fifa games, I find Pro careers and normal careers quite boring, it's either so easy you win every game (Which is quite boring believe it or not) or it's too hard and you win no games! lol

 

For me the I like the online game but the last time I had a Fifa and played it online as soon as someone was losing they'd quit.

 

The best thing about Fifa is playing tournaments with friends like you say.

 

Anyway sorry for highjacking a FM thread about Fifa lol

fifa 14 ps3 is abysmal. fifa 14 ps4 is the perfect footy game. im fully converted from pes now.

but saying that, if you want a footy game on ps3 go with pes 2014. its better.

Why do so many managers highlight Logan as city's weak link on this? Yeah, he's not great, but he never bloody plays - he's not a weak link while sat on the bench watching, in fact he's very good at that.

Doing okay. Currently fifth and have started to see more goals go in after early dry spells.

Topping my group in euro league with FC Utrecht, Partizan and Fiorentina.

Won 5 lost 4 after a poor start, in the league.

Signed zuculini, henrique from cruzeiro, eder from sampdoria and that strandberg.

Sod all wage and transfer budget but doing well and projected 12.3 mill profit for FFP! :o (being allowed -4.3 million)

I've started a game with Nantes.

Partly because I've enjoyed reading about Dan's game, and partly because if I can better his save I think he might have a mental breakdown lol.

First game, away at Monaco, they had 32 shots and 67% possession.

I managed to win 2-1 !

I can't stress enough, always ask your board for an increased wage + transfer budget every time it's available to do so (check every month).

I've had a feud going on with our Nigel for years now :D

I've got the better of his Tranmere like the last 4 times we've played, and now we're in different leagues as I got promoted to the Championship, bless him.

Good luck with it mate. I've had a real pleasant surprise with the budget for this season.

 

It was the same on 11 & 13 (I never had a working 12) but there's something seriously addictive about Ligue 1 that I can't quite put my finger on.
