He was released by Watford at the end of the season, and naturally I tried to sign him as he'd done well for me. The bastard wanted around £11k pw, which I couldn't afford. The end of the window neared, and I pressed continue. The next time the game had loaded, Ross County (of the SPL) had offered him a contract and he'd signed. That would be enough to annoy me, but the fact that he'd accepted £2.5k pw was just ridiculous. We're 19th in the Championship after 8 games.
Beliall Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 I tested the water at the king power earlier. speculation for weeks that keane would be sacked so I openly declared interest then denied it in the press. lcfc made a statement, the usual blah about never considering a new manger while they have one etc, and jomo are thrilled with my outspoken commitment to them . hopefully im now on leicesters radar. getting really bored in africa I need a change of scenery and a bloody trophy.

Barcelona style (although not quite at their level of course) This new match engine shows the ball actually lifting off the ground on 2D classic now...

Beliall Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 well, lcfc finally sacked roy keane after he got them relegated at the the end of the season. i declared interest once again and discovered i was the favourite to be offered the job. jomo cosmos were not at all happy and gave me a chance to resign....or be sacked. i resigned and crossed my fingers.. got the job with a 4 year contract but roy has really screwed the team up,40k over wage budget and the players are not that great. looking forward to this

Beliall Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 this' ll be fun. the board reduced my wage budget further so im now 60k over. brought in some extra coaches and sacked shackey and beaglehole for better replacements. I forsee me turning to the youth and reserve team while I turf out all the high earners. have a couple of players worth over a mill so hoping I can use that income to offset the wages a bit. hell of a challenge which is why I insisted on a 4 year deal. no way they will pay my compo so I should be able to build something. if I can get this team in the prem I should be in a good position to get a great job with the possibilty of some serious silverware.

Haydos Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Soooooo, Jan 2018 and the table is looking like this... I managed to get just over £40m from Real madrid for Carlos Fierro on the back of a pretty good season and him being 23 (development slowed down) and his form having dropped I decided to cash in in January and brought in another young, cheaper replacement regen. I'll probably buy big in the summer if I can afford to. Continue to focus on youth as I always do. Some amazing non regens there: Kurt Zouma I got on a free, Thiago Casasola I did shell out £15m for but he's worth every penny. Rodrigo Gomez on the right wing is a goal machine for a wide man and Julian Brandt looks like a decent signing although it is early days. Andy King, while not having the best stats is keeping Ross Barkley out of the team and Kondogbia is a solid all round midfielder. My starlet is Pedro Hernandez, an AMC who I bought for only £500k after the first season and who for a couple of years didn't think would amount to much but his stats are showing through and he's putting in some performances to match, his value is increasing and he's rated 5 stars by my scouts. This is my squad/tactics I've been trialling recently... And a few players, can post others (Knocky etc) if people wanna know what they're like....

On the flip side my 4, yes FOUR wingers all injured (2 forced subs and 1 took me down to 10 men). One for a week, two for 3-4 weeks and one for 3-4 months That 2-6-2 formation is going to get a stern test.

With this I bought 4 players. Richairo zivkovic for 500k (youth contract buyout) Connor hunte on a free transfer (16 released by Chelsea) Mario bollati from internacional for 350k And tom ince for 3.5m (over 48 months) I have also put a bid in for the player that haydos showed earlier "rodrigo gomez" You're Gomez in 2018 is worth 24m.... I've just signed him for 3.5 over 48 months... I won't sign anymore players over 48 months as it's bad business just when you desperately need someone without the funds available! Haydos, could you check out these players for me on your 2018 save? Connor hunte Richairo zivkovic Tom ince... Got ince in a steal bid of 3.5m, He's played 2 games at left wing, scoring 3, ratings of 7.8 He's got an England cap already after 2 games with Leicester!! Im getting boyata on loan with a 500k future fee And If promoted I will definitely buy a wonder centre back "eder Alvarez balata" he costs around 6m but grows to a value of about 30m if trained properly

Zivkovic was ruined by Man City but I've heard he does get good with game time. Connor Hunte doesn't look much tbh, just scouted him. Gomez isn't much on ym mates game either so I assume he has one of those varying PA's but game time and he seems to smash it at inside forward. I'd recommend Doria, Zouma, Balanta, Murillo and Casasola for CB's
