theessexfox Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Not in first team plans then. Konch at LCB? New CB?
cc_star Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Not in first team plans then. Konch at LCB? New CB? It would be unusual he'd play without a loan spell somewhere in fully competitive football. Could still play a part in matchday squads later on just like Moore, Schlupp etc.
indierich06 Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Will be good for him to go out and get some experience, still not convinced he's done enough to prove he's ready for first team action yet. Seems to be going down the route of other academy players who've broken through - Schlupp loaned out to Brentford, Moore loaned out to Bradford... He should be relishing the chance to go out and really impress, so he can come back here and force his way into the side.

FoxesBoyChris Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Taft should be given a chance in the 1st team. If he doesn't cut it then send him out on loan afterwards. King got his chance a few years back and now is probably our most valuable asset.
Tommy G Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Will they be loaning his big ego out with him aswell?
dbt_lcfc Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 If beaglhole doesn't think hes ready for championship football thats exactly what he will have told pearson.... season loan in lg1 could be just what he needs
kingfox Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Good luck to him, will give him the experience. Thought he would actually play a part this season. Looks as if Konch will definitely be staying, but we definitely need a centre back, it's the only position we can actually improve now, we are strong in other areas.
LCFC FOX Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Hopefully with a play off pushing league 1 side, I think Notts County. He can still live in Leicester then
scousefox4 Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Imo this kid will end up being the best of the lot of em , beast in the air good feet , quick & built like a brick s**t house .
Fox92 Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 A loan to a League One clubs should do him well, ala Schlupp. I suppose if he gains experience and improves his game, he'll come back around 21/22 years old which is the time he should start pushing for our first team.
Dan Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Hope it's worth it. I was wondering if he'd get a crack in the first team at some point this season.

Completely agree! Don't understand the people that say we need a striker, midfielder, winger etc we've got some real quality in those areas. Seen Taft play a couple of times, he isn't ready for first team championship football yet. He is close, but a loan to a league 1 or league 2 club would be hugely beneficial.

King got his chance a few years back and now is probably our most valuable asset. We were much more desperate that season. A loan can't do him any hard.
Soar Fox Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Will they be loaning his big ego out with him aswell? Will be surprised if his big head will fit through many teams door.
