Why do some people actually dislike Pearson as manager

Recommended Posts

To be honest MC, I'm actually starting to take DT more seriously than you.

I've seen little snippets of a more balanced view in DT's posts of late (I never thought I'd see myself writing that lol), whereas you seem to want to argue with a lot of what many posters seem to believe.

But fair enough, you have your view and DT has his. Over time, we will have to wait and see who proves to be correct. I suspect that both of you will be, in part.

I'm even nodding in agreement with a lot of Waller's stuff recently.

:o

I concur with the notion that Mr. DT has improved tenfold over the course of the last few weeks content-wise, but that could also be down to him cutting down on swear words. lol

Also, I think that you, on the other hand, have lost quite a bit of enthusiasm in recent months.... Why?

'improved'? you mean written things you agree with. how very big of you.

i don't take anything you say seriously, because you would cut your own nose off to spite your face if it made nige look good on the Msgboard.

balanced views are what makes people take one seriously, not whacking everybody over the head with a metaphorical mallet any time they don't agree with you to make them go away.

you're incable of debating in a reasonable fashion, unlike babylon and col  etc etc.

Thanks for the flowers, I thoroughly enjoy reading your and BNET's analysis of my personality - even though both assessments couldn't be much further away from the truth.

Apart from the "nice bloke" bit, that is. lol

I'll defend the club and the manager to a certain extent against unfounded and irrational attacks as long as they'll continue - and so will others alongside me.

The only ones making themselves foolish are well-known to this forum and few in numbers.

BNET's description acts merely as a mirror of his own self. And deep inside, he knows it.

BOO !!!!!!!

How about rational attacks such as.......

His inability to get our defence to command our own box.

His inability to improve any of our attacking players.

His inability to change games that are going against us.

His tendency to revert to a defensive style if things are not going his way.

There are others but they will do for now.

They are fine, people don't have a problem with those.

It's the morons who use "badger face" and "Coco" that are the issue.

And how very big of you of joining in with a deeply objective post.

I've stated that a few of the hate brigade have changed their tune and realized that booing and calling others tacky names won't lead us anywhere.

I've been critical of the club, the manager and the players myself and I won't stop here.

The immature fashion of some posters with regards to making the manager the sole scapegoat when the issues are much more in numbers and spread over different departments, is what grinds my gears.

"Being balanced" also means taking stats into account that make the manager look good - not just the bad ones. Right, Tony?

BOO !!!!!!!

Or how am I to take substantial argumentation like that seriously? How can anyone take well-put thoughts like that seriously?

There goes another candidate for the ignore list. :)

Oh do come off it, that simply is not true, and you know it That last sentence is trash. The same equally applies the other way round, but your unbalanced post simple ignores that fact, which is typical.

Everyone who defends Pearson on this forum fully admits there are negatives to having Pearson as manager. Is it the same the other way round? You only have to read this thread to know the answer to that

Yes it is the same for us who want Pearson gone, we also have negatives about him.

  Did you just write what you meant?

Do you actually ever post in another sub-forum or are you so obsessed with your dislike for Pearson?

It's like a mania.

Is there ever a time where you don't have to have the last word??  It's just tedious reading your posts.

No one's forcing you. :dunno:

And no, when I post, I'm not thinking about having the last word (which isn't true, anyway). :)

Thanks for not really replying to my post. Support is generally two-faced, both positive and negative, but never solely only one of them.

If you started to show signs of support that encourages this team, this manager and this club, instead of being so one-sided, me and a lot of others could take you a lot more seriously.

That is, if you actually want to be taken seriously. :)

How can I expect to take you seriously when you dodge questions yourself. Eg. I asked you if you believed we had gelled, and  you failed, or just could not respond. I also stated I was

"disturbed" by the result at Northampton, You then misquoted and said I was "unable to sleep". Just how ridiculous is that?

If you truly wish not to be looked upon as a serious poster, then you need to get your facts right. You really are not as good as you think you, are as a respondent. I am sure you mean well, but regrettably, you lack the calibre to do so.

If you require a coaching course, I will be more than happy to oblige you..

Really, DT - really? Why the need to spin things in your way when you know it's not true? I can't always reply immediately because I'm not always online. I have a life, too.;)

But... I did actually respond to your question or statement regarding "gelling":

http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/89618-northampton-match-thread/?p=2679697

I also did not claim that you were losing sleep, I added the rhetoric term in an indirect question.

If you can't grasp that, it's not my problem.

On the other hand, you're dodging questions when you're still in the same thread doesn't make anything better.

Bit of a fail on your behalf.

Ambiguity appears to be a major issue for you. Inept phraseology is not something desirable but you appear to have mastered the art.

I am no longer bothered with this thread, as the season starts today. Let's hope it's a good one that we can both enjoy.,
