MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Kevin Phillips at Wembley, commentating for Sky Sports.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 1-0 Sunderland! Demichelis pushed too far up and didn't have to pace to get back. Kompany had to come across but couldn't cover in time. Na, that was Kompanys fault. Deal with the bloody ball. If in doubt kick it out. Before today we were the only side to score against Citeh in their cup run
Kitchandro Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 The stick Demichelis is getting is ridiculous. Everything is apparently his fault.
Matt Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 city are gonna batter them second half They best do. I'd settle for Aguero scoring 2 and it finishes 2-1. Purely because i've bet on it (Well Man City winning and preferably 1 playing scoring atleast 2 goals) I can't see it, genuinely cannot see it, i've got some kind of fucking jinx.

Before today we were the only side to score against Citeh in their cup run Kompany shouldn't have had to come all the way across to deal with it if Demichelis hadn't pushed up so far and got caught out. Like Neville said, I'm not sure he realises he's as slow as he is.
martyn Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Sky desperately trying to pin everything on demichelis..
Voll Blau Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Not sure cheering every pass as early as the 37th minute is wise from the Mackem fans?
MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 The stick Demichelis is getting is ridiculous. Everything is apparently his fault. Sky desperately trying to pin everything on demichelis.. His positioning is awful and he's slow like a slug. I don't really understand what Pellegrini sees in Demichelis. The guy IS a liability, costing Manchester City way too many games/points so far.
MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 What a great, great strike from Touré! Lovely touch and bend!
One Legged Beaver Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 That goal just rendered me speechless, outrageous ability!
MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Two goals in - what? - two minutes? What a hammer from Nasri. 2-1 Manchester City
Matt Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Amazing goal from Toure, I thought it was going over, stunning. I think it was a case of if and when they scored 1 they'll score 2, and I fully expect 3 or 4 now. I was just wondering where the 1st was going to come from, I couldn't see it coming at all. Come on, I just need Nasri or Toure to score another or Aguero/Dzeko/Anyone else to score 2 now! :fc

Or does it have to be Man City?
Matt Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Is it any player? Could you win if Borini scores again and City go on to win? Or does it have to be Man City? Do you know what, I don't know I was just thinking the same myself though, I might get on Ladbrokes chat and ask them. I guess if Borini scored and Man City went onto win it would count, it didn't stipulate it had to be a Man City player in T&C's. Yes Borini would count, it's any player to score twice and Man City to lift the trophy. And as it stands I win my money back with about £4 profit.
One Legged Beaver Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I think it says it all about the trophy that I don't think one Man City player looks happy at all bar Navas...
LeicesterBran Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I wanted Sunderland to beat Citeh today but, unfortunately it was not to be. But, the Black Cats did well to make the final.
Jimothy Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I think it says it all about the trophy that I don't think one Man City player looks happy at all bar Navas... Also that it's on early today. It's like a support act for Villa Norwich on Sky! Surely a final should either be the only game of the day, or at the very least the last game so everything builds up to it.

Well that is Paul Lambert against his old club But on a serious note you're right, sky's money has completely taken the magic from the cups and made final day just another average Sunday pretty much.
Kitchandro Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 WTF was Fletcher doing near the end? That was their one chance and he made a right pig's ear of it. I'd be absolutely livid with him if I was his manager or one of the fans. And probably all because he's too fvcking shit to use his right foot.
