Kitchandro Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 He won't be a bad signing by any means but where exactly is he playing? I can see Moyes trying to put him on the left in a 4-4-2. Dante was just a rumour, doubt there's much to it. They're going to have to start bidding for less obvious players because without European participation they'll lose a hell of a lot of pulling power regardless of their name. The penalty shootout was a total embarrassment and summed up the weak mentality of a lot of both sides. I think over the two legs, Sunderland deserved it. They'll make room for him, he'll be the best midfielder at the club by a country mile. If they have to change the system, so be it.
Super_horns Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 That's probably Welbeck and Jones off Hodgson potentially penalty kick list for a shoot-out this summer!
Fox92 Posted 23 January 2014 Author Posted 23 January 2014 I was hoping Jones wouldn't even get in the squad.
lavrentis Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Mates got £1600 on United to win. He's literally been talking about Rooney playing all week. Ouch, can he afford the loss?
ScouseFox Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Ouch, can he afford the loss? United did win 1-0. Unless he had united to qualify, in which case haha, what a maniac, hasn't he seen any football this season?!
Fox92 Posted 23 January 2014 Author Posted 23 January 2014 Yeah he just had a United win in 90 minutes. Could have easily been a different story though.
Matt Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 He has got to go. This team, albeit old, should not be doing this bad, he's transfer targets? Shocking and/or panic buys that arguably may not suit Man Utd, certainly not at this present time.
AKCJ Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Yeah he just had a United win in 90 minutes. Could have easily been a different story though. What winnings did he get?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 What winnings did he get? I couldn't imagine the return would have been great, he must have more money than sense, I would never have laid down that bet but then I can't throw away such cash.

Panic buy maybe but if you're seriously suggesting a player of Mata's quality isn't suited to Man Utd then think again.

What gets me is there are still alot of Man U fans saying "We need to give him time like we did Fergie" most of them live in a fairy tale! football as moved on since then! Even before kick off most of the Man U team looked down and lacked confidence.

I couldn't imagine the return would have been great, he must have more money than sense, I would never have laid down that bet but then I can't throw away such cash. It was only about £2100 I think, so he's only won £500... Yeah, £500 is great, I'd love to have that now, but there's no way I would have gambled more than £1000 just for an extra £500.
Langston Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 He has got to go. This team, albeit old, should not be doing this bad, he's transfer targets? Shocking and/or panic buys that arguably may not suit Man Utd, certainly not at this present time. He's doing a poor job but anybody thinking the squad didn't need a huge overhaul is kidding themselves. Getting rid of him now would be extremely short-termist and not in United's character.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 It was only about £2100 I think, so he's only won £500... Fox92 Posted 2 March 2014 Author Posted 2 March 2014 Final then. Just got the build up on now. Sunderland come up with a shock? I'd like them to win it, I like Poyet who's done a good job, but can't see past a City win. You never know though...
theessexfox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Would be nice to remain the only side to score past City in the competition.
marko Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Did anyone else notice what the big screens were playing when they were presenting from pitch side? They did a run down of the best 3 free kicks of this seasons cup. 3. Knockaert Vs Derby 2. Karagounis Vs Leicester 1. Kolarov Vs Leicester All scored at the KP, too.
jonthefox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Anyone got a stream for this?. anyone got a stream? Boom.
LCFC FOX Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 http://neolive.net/120727/1/Watch-Sky-Sports-/ best I could find
jonthefox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Try this. Link 2 http://www.feed2all.eu/watch/243834/2/watch-manchester-city-vs-sunderland.html
LCFC FOX Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Sunderland take the lead, sloppy from City. Great finish from Borini
Jimothy Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 1-0 Sunderland! Demichelis pushed too far up and didn't have to pace to get back. Kompany had to come across but couldn't cover in time.
One Legged Beaver Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I really don't get how Dzeko keeps getting into this Man City side, he really adds nothing and slows down their attacks. Negredo and Jovetic are much better options in my opinion.
