If you want to know public opinion on the issue of homelessness, just ask the man on the street.

Somebody send this thread to Shelter, they'll be pissing themselves. :)

Just met a beautiful homeless woman and asked her if I could take her home.

The smile was wiped off her face when I walked off with her cardboard box.

They are going to get a bit of stick on our raDNO show tomorrow. I've stopped reading the replies to this thread.

Just seen Scotland take the lead against England. Maybe those coming back have a chance even if they did lose all their matches.

Those sponsoring have had their businesses in the spotlight for a fortnight which some will also think is good.

I don't think they'd be eligible to play - it's a home game.

I thought Matt or Moose would be first with that one. Well done. You've out-wit-ted them.

To hear a summary of their performance click here tomorrow 12-4pm

Well probably 3-4 but the rest will be fun too.

I was going to tell you to contact the sweaties manager, he'll have a raft of talent to pick from if he has a wander around Trafalgar Square tonight.

I believe the performances have improved. We were looking at it today on raDNO. There was also a 20 minute slot on Talksport. Interviews with players and background to the history of the tournament. As far as I am aware the presenters never once made a stereotype joke about the homeless or spoke about the players in a demeaning manner.

They beay Wales 6=1

Alan Brazil did make a couple.

Glad they improved, they couldn't get any worse. Do you think it would have been better that instead of investing all the money in this they should have just used it to build a big house for them all to live in?

You're not serious are you? :)

A Scotsman and an Austriam came up with the idea in 2003 at a conferance for homelessness. Their aim was to raise awareness and dispell myrhs and stereotyping. They have helped hundreds if not thousamds of people turn their lives around and go on to contribute to society.

Is this not better than bunging them in one house and   then forgetting and ignoring them?

As I posted earlier the backers and sponsors have had their name spotlighted. If it was bad for their business would they carry on doing it?

Too many teams would lose there best players.

I actually watched this when it was in Melbourne, a mate and I used to eat our lunch down there used to really piss off the players smelling a nice roast chicken sandwich whaft over the pitch.

I keep seeing posts saying homeless people should do somethong for themselves and when they do they are still regarded as scum.

I thought football fans would be pleased that they are using the sport to change their lives around.

I was obviously wrong.

Ken,I don't think anybody really thinks like that,I think most of us on here are fairly light hearted but are always looking for that laugh out loud moment .i know I am and fail!

Yes it's easy pickings for a laugh and it might be different in Leicester, but in Cambridge for every decent homeless person, polite and just falling on hard times, you get the aggressive ,drugged up,drunk scaring the elderly and kids, homeless person.

Might aunt is quite a thoughtful person and often sees homeless people outside where she works, with the sign" cold hungry" she BUYS them sandwiches and a hot drink. Some are grateful but loads moan and say they wanted the money.i wonder why.
