Although I watch both soaps, I much prefer Corrie, as a lot of the character in Eastenders just bore me. I'm sick of the Brannings, and since most of the story lines now revolve around them, I don't and haven't enjoyed Eastenders for quite a while now.

There are some gritty story lines but the Ian Beale one brought to the surface an heap of myths and legends into viewers minds. Most don't realise that it is done for entertainment affect.

I have to say though between Corrie and Eastenders the one I like the most depends on the storylines in them at the time. I do think some of them go on a while though. Specifically the storyline with Karl burning down the rovers on Corrie.
