ScouseFox Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 a sbtrkt album announcement and tour dates was the perfect welcome home present.
The Doctor Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 The Prodigy have said that their new "violent-sounding" album will be out later this year: http://www.nme.com/news/the-prodigy/78278 No title or confirmed release date yet.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 And looking forward to the new Alt-J album in September.
StanSP Posted 30 July 2014 Author Posted 30 July 2014 And looking forward to the new Alt-J album in September. Already pre-ordered . Going to Ally Pally to see them in Sept too.
The Doctor Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 hmmmmm... will likely get the new album in September, but this is far from their best work. New Alestorm album has just come, sounds great so far.
hairy Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 The new Spoon album is very good if you like a bit of indie pop. The FKA Twigs is disappointing after the two excelent preview tracks Goat's new album Commune is excellent as expected and they will soon take over the world
MC Prussian Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 I'm somewhat disappointed in the new Hooray For Earth effort. "Keys" is the standout track, the rest of the album is more or less mediocre and a lot less moving and/or intriguing. All in all, "Racy" leaves a stark taste of blandness behind.
MC Prussian Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Weezer have announced a new album - the first in four years:
MC Prussian Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Wildcat! Wildcat! have just announced their first album: 'Roo will love this news.
StanSP Posted 7 August 2014 Author Posted 7 August 2014 Alt-J new video for latest single, Left Hand Free, from new album This Is All Yours And this new one from Young Guns, I Want Out
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 August 2014 Posted 7 August 2014 And looking forward to the new Alt-J album in September. Hunger of the Pine was brilliant but that other recently released track from this forthcoming effort sounded like a crap Black Keys tribute act.
shen Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Haken's new album "The Mountain" is a brilliant piece of work! Must-listen for all heavy prog fans. Likewise, Bigelf's "Into The Maelstrom" is one I've listened to a lot recently
Jay Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Hunger of the Pine was brilliant but that other recently released track from this forthcoming effort sounded like a crap Black Keys tribute act.I was reading something the other day about Alt J writing new stuff in order to please their American record company, as they wanted a big single. In my opinion when you start doing that it's game over.

StanSP Posted 15 August 2014 Author Posted 15 August 2014 Alt-J released another single the other day. Every Other Freckle.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 The worst Alt-J track I've heard by some margin. No doubt it will be a huge hit.
StanSP Posted 23 August 2014 Author Posted 23 August 2014 They really have changed (too) much from An Awesome Wave. 3 songs released already and I pre-ordered the album as the first one came out. I thought there was some part of the album that was meant to remain a mystery and part of the fun was to listen to it all and in its entirety.
Guest Posted 8 September 2014 Posted 8 September 2014 Dallas Green and Pink. Interesting combo, but not a bad effort
