About time this was investigated properly.

This has been happening for years in the lower leagues, not match fixing, but spot fixing.

So easy to do and impossible to notice.

Have to admit during the first half v Forest I was wondering if Knocky was in a yellow card spot fix lol

Collymore tweeted something regarding £7k, do I think it's more likely to involve lower league players.

Delroy Facey is one of them and 3 football players from the Football League allegedly fingerscrossed none of our players have got involved!

Delroy Facey wasn't match fixing, he's just genuinely that bad!

Heard the fees being paid were around something like 7k, so I'm guessing it's lower league to be tempted by those sums.

Did anyone else see this on SSN?

Said that police were investigating reports of an Asian betting company match fixing in English football, however outside the premier league...

Which could mean any of 4 leagues....

We should do a sweepstake. My money is on the Watford away playoff match being rigged. Knockaert deliberately took a shit penalty and fluffed the rebound. Then our entire team decided to turn into a bunch of sunday league players and not defend the counter attack so that Watford scored in a last minute shocker. More arrests to follow. You heard it here first!

Middlesbrough away 3-3....

 

Bruma's behaviour that day was ridiculous and makes you wonder doesn't it. I've never ever seen a player get booked for giving away a penalty and then talking himself into a red after it had been scored.

Only one I can think of is Forest away in 11/12. Most biased refereeing I've ever seen.

It won't be refs or actual fixing.

It will be paying players to get booked, keepers to concede or players making sure they give away as many fouls and corners etc for spread betting.

Stuff you can do in front of thousands and people will hardly notice.

First corner, first card, first foul etc in League 2 games. I think you can bet on throw ins in some places (might not be able to now, not sure).

 

First throw-in in a League One or Two game? You kick off and punt it long and "overhit" it. 7 grand. Thanks.
