sylofox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Put simply, forest can fook right off! Cheeky bastards! Your right Col but sure they wont be the only ones. Our owners are risking our season startin to think we are way off on FFP. They are sitting back on contracts for players we need. If they think we can spend big and replace them this season sorry they are wrong. One word. Turmoil (if spelt right )

Turmoil (if spelt right ) They're risking our season? By some nothing club up the road speculating about one of our main first team players? Come on Sylo get a grip. They can sort out contracts without notifying every media outlet about them. How do you know they're sitting back?
Devonfox1884 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 If we sold lloyd to forest, i would find out where robinson lives, break in, and stick a tree up his ass.
Tom17LCFC Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 hahaha no chance. To all the guests in this thread, fvck off forest.
hackneyfox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Your right Col but sure they wont be the only ones. Our owners are risking our season startin to think we are way off on FFP. They are sitting back on contracts for players we need. If they think we can spend big and replace them this season sorry they are wrong. One word. Turmoil (if spelt right ) So which of those players will sign for someone else knowing that we could get promoted? Which of those players has an agent who would advise him to sign at the moment? What reason is there for a player to sign at the moment, assuming we'll be offering reduced terms to most of them?
LCCFox96 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 We should buy like 20 new players if we get promoted, it really helped Palace. Lloyd's pace is such an asset, and even in the prem there wouldn't be many defenders that would be able to keep up with him. Completely agree with this. Whilst Lloyd has his pace he is a massive threat in any division. Capable of winning a foot race with a 10m handicap.
sylofox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 But who of our current squad is seriously capable of playing in the premier? Not many of them for me, Kasper, Knocky, James, Drinkwater? Team spirit does count for a lot but getting hammered every week would soon ruin it. Blimey, discussing Premier football in December. I would think most of them to a point. Not as a squad maybe but as part of another squad yes. We have pissed money up the wall on players for whatever reason are not good enough for us. Some from the prem and regular places b4 we bought them. A lot of sottons squad cae from div 1 so did the norwich squad last season. MON's squad for what he spent should never have achived what it did. To me attitude is a great part of the squad. What are you looking for if we do go up. Stopping up mid table or europe? I think our squad plus 2 or 3 first choice players would stop up well.
absolutelegend Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Would you play him in The Premier ? not sure - all depends what our premiership budget would be. all i know is that he is one of the main reasons why we might get there in the first place though.
sylofox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 So which of those players will sign for someone else knowing that we could get promoted? Which of those players has an agent who would advise him to sign at the moment? What reason is there for a player to sign at the moment, assuming we'll be offering reduced terms to most of them? All of them. you ask and argue the same ponit. 2 players have said all they want is a contract. Why they want to be able to plan there lives and there family's life/future. They can sit here for six months get promotion and be told to go or take a 3 to 5 yr contract. So you telling me cos we are top of the league you would gamble 3 yrs work just to win a pot for a club you don't support. Gamblers bet on certainties not dreams. This is employment not a love affair. 3yrs on 10k is better than 0 yrs on 50k If we are stone wall not talking till the summer every agent will say take the offer for 3 yrs. A % of that is better than a % of fvck all. No offer = fvck all an offer from forest means money. Yes they would leave imo
sylofox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 They're risking our season? By some nothing club up the road speculating about one of our main first team players? Come on Sylo get a grip. They can sort out contracts without notifying every media outlet about them. How do you know they're sitting back? I don't and have not said I do. But 2 players have said if we believe the press they just want a contract sorting out now. I have said if the owners are sitting back waiting it will have an effect on our season imo. I don't care what they have offered I would just like to see dyer morgan nuge and wasyl have signed a new contract. Untill th players are saying they want it sorted I have to believe the club have offered nothing. That is where my concern is. Yes they are under contract till the summer and we can tell forest to fvck off. Don't mean the players will perform as they have been. That also concerns me. Leicester born Leicester bred Leicester proud. I may not be everyones cup of tea but all I want is the best for my club and county. They're risking our season? Loggy88 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 I can't see us letting him go to Forest, he deserves another years deal and I hope the club offer him it.
deanolegend1989 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 I dont get this Premier League love. Its like people really believe that its 50 times better than the Championship? Other than the top few teams its not really that different. So many small margins like someone mentioned already which came to my mind too Grant Holt. On the verge of an England call up, now looking awful in a struggling Wigan team. The level difference between the Championship and 3/4 of the Premiership are only a small difference, in fact Id go to say in these last few years its been the easiest to stay up its ever been..Southampton, Norwich, West Ham, Swansea, Stoke, West Brom - all of these stay up comfertably all the time. Even poor QPR managed it. Id argue only Reading last season(who didnt spend a penny) and Palace at the minute this season are the only 2 who seem to be struggling badly, the rest were fine and even this season 2 have got a great chance of staying up. Moving on ton Dyer, Like Ive said ever since weve signed this guy, hes a top class player and criminally underrated. Always rubbished off and after Derby earlier this year, people saying hes past it completely and hes lost it. At the time I laughed and said everyone was talking rubbish and its been proved correct, because hes then comeback from apperantly losing it, to playing the best of his career. 6 goals from the wing would be a great tally AT THE END of the season..before the new year? incredible. Thats not even taking into account the assists. The guy is class, always has been class and Im probably one of the only one whoes stuck by this...of course he could do a job in the Premier League. Like Ive said on the wing is hard to influence a game, so if we struggled in the prem due to being outbattled in midfield then Dyer would too due to not getting service and people would pick on him and miss the real culprits. If we had a good team and competed, Lloyd would then be the guy to win the games were bossing, and because hes got quality, he would. You have to win the battles first and if we didnt Lloyd would be 'anonymous' but its not Lloyds fault. Drinky has done well to come back after a shocking last half of the season but IMO the reason mainly were really strong this year is due to 2 people - Lloyd and Vardy. Id be here till tomorrow if I went through every game why this is the case but Ill point to 1 to underline whats been happening all year. 1-0 down and awful vs Ipswich. Dyer picks it up, runs at 3 and puts a class ball in for Vardy cushion lay off(great finish Nuge..good service though he wouldnt of got last year with Wood up top). 5 mins later, Dyer great run, great composure..Nugent. 1-2 BANG BANG game turned around. Forest can get stuffed..Lloyd is key for us.
Spiritwalker Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 For 500k they'd be lucky to acquire Lloyd's little toe. They can **** right off! Maybe his right foot.
