Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 So I have just rung the wonderful ticket office to get a refund for an extra man city ticket I have, only to be told it is new policy that no refunds will be issued for ANY tickets anymore. Are they having a fvcking laugh? Apparently they have stuck it in the terms and conditions now. Is LCFC seriously trying to alienate the fans? I am sick and tired of the constant bullshit that the admin side of the club offers. Despite the fact there is a pointless "official waiting list" for man city tickets, their suggestion, sell it on. So they rather I become a ticket tout instead. Cheers Leicester
Lionator Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 That's ridiculous. You need to write to the club to get a reason why.
AndWhat? Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Selling it on is illegal! I bet if you phoned again and got someone else you'd probably get a different answer!
Jiggers the Fox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 What a weird coincidence. I've literally just come off the phone after the same conversation regarding a Burnley ticket! Had no idea this had changed and I can't believe it either! Shocking!
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 I have rung twice today and spoken to two different people. Not budging. Im furious tbh. It boils down to utter greed.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I have rung twice today and spoken to two different people. Not budging. Im furious tbh. It boils down to utter greed. The offer I got was to exchange it for another game, which in my case is pretty useless as they rarely come! 15 quid down the drain. Cheers LCFC
Ashley Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I will have the extra if you're selling my friend?
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 I didn't even get that offer, and in any case I am a STH, as is my dad. I don't need another ticket, I need a refund.
Snik-Snok Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I found this out when trying to return a ticket for the Fulham game a few weeks ago. The person that couldn't make it paid up for the ticket anyway, so on that occasion I got my money back. They said that the only time they would issue a refund is if the game is re-arranged for a different date and/or time (due to TV etc.) after the ticket has been purchased.
Ashley Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I didn't even get that offer, and in any case I am a STH, as is my dad. I don't need another ticket, I need a refund. ILL BUY IT OFF YOU X
demon_dog Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Doesn't make sense. What if you were to sell it on to a rival supporter and trouble ensued. They would soon be banning you for selling the ticket on. A complete joke.
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 Ash, its an under 22 ticket in SK4?
darko2k7 Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I thought that if you made a change to any T&C's that you had to inform and get acceptance of new T&C's from costumers before you continued to trade by the new rules .
Ashley Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Ash, its an under 22 ticket in SK4? I'm U22! Will take it!
davieG Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Look out for a business link up announcement with a company that sells on match tickets quite a few clubs are doing this now I presume they get a % of any profits where as refunding direct costs them in administration.
Dan Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Sigh. Only in football could any 'business' get away with such shoddiness time and time again. That surely isn't legal?
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 Ive just read through the entire list of terms and conditions on LCFC Direct. Only says SeasonCards wont be refunded if you cant attend a game, nothing at all about normal tickets. They are liars and cheats.
Dan Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 That really is so poor. Who the hell even decides on shit like this and thinks it's a good idea? I'm convinced there's someone behind the scenes having a big laugh at how because it's football they can be as cuntish as they want and continue to get away with it, because fans won't ditch their own club. Something has got to change behind the scenes at Leicester, and quick. It's been a joke for a while now.
Jackubu Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Sigh. Only in football could any 'business' get away with such shoddiness time and time again. That surely isn't legal? It is legal. Unfortunately if you simply decide you no longer want the item you do not have a legal right to a refund.
Robo61 Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Whilst it is shoddy to make this change without any publicity, the policy is not unusual for live events. Have you ever tried sending back tickets for the theatre and/or concerts.
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 But for a club who claims to be all about fans and families, they don't half screw us over at every single opportunity. Surely it will just mean a load more paid for, but empty seats in the stadium because then they cant be resold. All about the money, not the fans.

Said it many a time but we're a greedy short-termist club behind the scenes. I absolutely dread to think the state we'd be in if it wasn't for how good our team was.
Foxfromburbage Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 They are not interested in Fans ---------- since my sons student season ticket went up we have attended some games and go to away matches..instead of x2 season tickets. The Club have lost in excess of £1.5K of revenue because of it from me. I miss going on a regular basis,,, but out of principle I ain't budging until I get my old age season ticket price.
