dynamark Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Be interested to see how many empty seats v MC.I for one would love to be there but ticket policy was a bit odd to say the least
Jiggers the Fox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Ive just read through the entire list of terms and conditions on LCFC Direct. Only says SeasonCards wont be refunded if you cant attend a game, nothing at all about normal tickets. They are liars and cheats. Looks like it's on the back of the ticket. Also kindly notifies you that if you lose your ticket, it will cost £5 to re-print it! When i'm sure it must cost them nothing to do that themselves! Joke!
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 I want to read terms and conditions before I purchase a ticket, no good having them on the back of the bloody thing. The one I wanted a refund for was an e-ticket anyway which obviously wont have them on anyway.
foxfanazer Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Mate Ash has offered to buy it........twice
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 Yeah Ive sold it to him on PM. Doesn't stop the club being a joke though
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 So I have just rung the wonderful ticket office to get a refund for an extra man city ticket I have, only to be told it is new policy that no refunds will be issued for ANY tickets anymore. Are they having a fvcking laugh? Apparently they have stuck it in the terms and conditions now. Is LCFC seriously trying to alienate the fans? I am sick and tired of the constant bullshit that the admin side of the club offers. Despite the fact there is a pointless "official waiting list" for man city tickets, their suggestion, sell it on. So they rather I become a ticket tout instead. Cheers Leicester Silly by the club but at least you'll be able tp sell this particular ticket on easily
Ashley Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Saying that about returns. I need to return my QPR away ticket. The club best let me have my money back.
Karljohn Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I got refund for league game but had to scrap for it and I was genuinely ill. They've gone the same way as concert tickets now.
Corky Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Encouraging people to sell it on is a dangerous game, especially when you are doing the right thing and sending a ticket back to claim the amount you paid instead of selling it to someone else at possibly a significant increase. The supporter relations is a joke.
Guest shearfox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Just sell it ... their fault for not taking it back, ridiculous really
Bayfox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Saying that about returns. I need to return my QPR away ticket. The club best let me have my money back. we've ended up with a spare as well. They best let me take it back.
VLC86 Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 ILL BUY IT OFF YOU X Give me a bit more than a kiss and il sell you mine you sexy beast
Guest MattP Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 It's the fact they still have the gall to claim they care about the fans whilst screwing them over time and time again that's annoying.
HEGGSY Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Saying that about returns. I need to return my QPR away ticket. The club best let me have my money back. Not going now Ash?
Babylon Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I got refund for league game but had to scrap for it and I was genuinely ill. They've gone the same way as concert tickets now.Just about to say concert tickets are like this, so not a great surprise.
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2013 Author Posted 13 December 2013 But we're not going to a one off concert at a random venue. The same loyal fans are going to the same place, to watch the same thing week in week out. The club should have a great rapport with its fan base that it ultimately relies on.
Dan Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Looks like it's on the back of the ticket. Also kindly notifies you that if you lose your ticket, it will cost £5 to re-print it! When i'm sure it must cost them nothing to do that themselves! Joke! Sums them up. Absolute short-termists who'll happily piss the fans off (and over time, lose them) for that slight bit more money. Absolutely sickening mentality.
LMlcfc Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 i refunded 2 months ago has it changed since then?
Bettsj2 Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Cant understand the shock in this. Businesses use shit refund policies all the time. My wife bought me a jacket from the Henry Lloyd shop in Truro, I didnt like it so took it back. They had a sale on and would only refund me the sale price. Bullsh!t policy but hey ho. Its not like you cant sell a ticket for the same face value so why go through the 'the clubs fvcking shit' etc. If it happens to anyone in the future, take the spare ticket with you on a matchday and sell it to someone in the ticket office queue. You support the club its not the other way around. It never has been.
Dan Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 I think when they actually had a refund policy in the first place, it shows utter greed to take it away - they'll get absolutely minimal gain from it.

To be fair that policy is completely understandable, otherwise you could just get people bringing stuff back they purchased for a full refund and then just walking out and walking in again buying it for cheaper in the sale. Not comparable to what the club are doing here, they aren't even offering a refund/credit full stop which is something everyone actually has a right to in some way shape or form. "Supporters not Customers" It's not even that now, we aren't even being treated like customers, we're treated like the underclass who queue up at Delboys market stall before he does a runner or a pisshead who buys a pair of shades from a lucky lucky man. Your right on the last point as thats what I'd do, but a lot of people are shy and wont have the confidence to march down the ticket queue offering it to strangers. The club should be helping out in that regard considering they are already queuing up to buy. But they know they can get away with nicking a few quid so that's what they will do. They know where our loyalties lie and they are prepared to abuse it, if LCFC was s supermarket it wouldn't have a customer left.
Dan Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 MattP's post is absolutely spot on. Their 'customer' service is truly appalling and only in football will you get away with anything like it, because they know there's a minimal risk in losing 'customers' to other clubs. Betts, you claim there are some over-reactions - but really? It isn't just this specific incident. It's absolutely everything the club does nowadays, it's just one bit of a petty greed after another, trying to leech every last penny from a group of people that have allowed the club to be what it is today. It's an absolute joke the contempt the fans are treated with at Leicester. They can thank Nigel Pearson and the team for performing well because if we were shit, I dread to think how poor our attendances would be. The 'customer' service continues to be absolutely appalling and it really doesn't have to be. I'm repeating myself now anyway and it's pointless because nothing will change.
Voll Blau Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 If all people are going to do is moan about it on here, it won't change. OP, it's probably something worth going to the Mercury about.
SystonFox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Yeah cos the mercury will listen and print it. Too loved up in Sam Bailey
