Jimothy Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 I'm not quite sure I'm understanding this. Is El Dorado a right-winger? Nah, it was a crap TV soap opera. Much like the Premier League.
cityfanlee23 Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Eh? Sorry babs, Did not explain what I was saying well, Made it confusing, With promotion and tv revnues, promotion would mean a minimum of £140m revenue I did not mean you get 90+140 Can see how I typed it though would seem that, Not too sure I even remember typing it but I obvs did
Guest Bilo Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 We will need to strengthen in January. Rivals will all strengthen through perm/loan signings, we don't need to spend £5M but will will need to spend something. Definitely. A winger, more defensive cover and a clinical striker wouldn't hurt us.
Matt Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Remember when we had Milan Mandaric I ****ing love big VICH I was going to mention this on Saturday myself but didn't want to look back and such a terribly ran time. Milan could learn alot of these guys. For starters get your face out the media, keep quiet and stop moaning about making a loss at whichever club you are currently at, if you don't like making losses, why buy football clubs and you seem to be not a very good buisinessman. The one decent thing he did do was sell us to such good owners though! I'll give him that.
sphericalfox Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 This is dreadful news! One less thing to moan about? I'm livid!
Guest shearfox Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 For those putting down Milan must realise that he actually did his research into these guys before selling the club to them. He said it himself that he had made sure he left the club in good hands, he didn't want another Portsmouth. So I thank Milan for coming in and sorting our books out and putting the club on the right track to financial stability.

How much research did he do into who he sold his beloved Portsmouth to?
Guest shearfox Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 I tend to think it was luck. How much research did he do into who he sold his beloved Portsmouth to? Milan had learnt his lesson and wanted to ensure the same didn't happen. He even said it himself
Cropwellfox Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Incredibly good news for the short and long term future of the club. If we are successful this season it gives a great platform for investment and if we aren't, it should allow us to continue to build season on season, keeping hold of the likes of Knockaert, Drinkwater, Vardy whilst bringing additions in to replace anybody out of contract who does see their future elsewhere. Having a stable club of our size not saddled with debt is something of a luxury in this league and to have got there despite the wasted millions of the Sven and Andrew Neville show is a fantastic result. This is an Xmas present which should guarantee we don't go the way of Pompey - which could so easily of happened with other owners.
Guest MattP Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Milan had learnt his lesson and wanted to ensure the same didn't happen. He even said it himself But Milan is a compulsive liar. He got lucky. He would sell his mother to the devil for the right price.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 He would sell his mother to the devil for the right price. You mean he hasn't already ......
Jace Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Milan may have sold to a good buyer but end of the day he is a business man and no doubt in my mind he would have sold to the highest bidder regardless of credibility
Deucalion Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Milan may have sold to a good buyer but end of the day he is a business man and no doubt in my mind he would have sold to the highest bidder regardless of credibility Tend to agree.
Aus Fox Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 You mean he hasn't already ...... He tried to, but Ken Bates offered a better deal for his mum.
jimmeh Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Wiped out debt so can sell club easily in summer when we don't get promotion.
jimmeh Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Why do you think Pearson hasn't been offered a new contract. The players I can just about understand. But if they were here to stay they would know there long term plan. New owners might not want Pearson in charge.
StanSP Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Stay off the alcohol mate. I know it's Christmas time but it clearly isn't healthy for you.

Actions speak louder than words
cityfanlee23 Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 We will see ! They are selling up face it Jimmeh, I know I can be a bit controversial, and have opinions, but fvck sake mate, at least put some facts behind it, or structure your opinion to swing either way, You seem to come on here to say bad news only, but never give reasons why? Would you buy a club for £25,000,000 Taking on over £15,000,000 worth of debt... Invest £75,000,000 into the club? MAking a total outlay of around £100,000,000 + the initial fees to buy the club, To get them promoted, and SELL THEM FOR LESS??? I can understand you may have an opinion on them and their plans, but please... for **** sake do not go into business.... If we get promoted, we would not be valued at £150,000,000 so it would be pointless.
davieG Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 We will see ! They are selling up face it So, what if they are the debt has still gone.
