Walshy5 Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Any stattos out there know this? At this rate we're on for it arent we?
Harry - LCFC Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 How about Vardy - record number of penalties won? Five now.
ousefox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Yeah Palace seemed to get one every week. How many we on now?
Walshy5 Posted 30 December 2013 Author Posted 30 December 2013 Think palace got 16 last season. We've had 13 already including 2 in the league cup and 2 missed
sylofox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 The good thing is the press don't seem to be labeling us or Vardy as divers
Guest shearfox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 The good thing is the press don't seem to be labeling us or Vardy as divers Simple reason is they have all been penalties without question, can't believe their keeper didn't get booked for that at least, he had rounded him nicely...
Bert Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Think palace got 16 last season. We've had 13 already including 2 in the league cup and 2 missedThought it was 12?Nugent 8/10 Wood 1/1 Konch 1/1 Anyway, only the Blackburn one was one where even we would say it wasn't. The rest every single team would call for.
sylofox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 So was palace a record last season. If it was you just know they will claim we cheated if we beat it. Something to do with abnormal betting in Thailand lol
Guest shearfox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 When you are hitting like 20 to 30 attempts on goal a game you will get penalties...
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 As I've said before it's the pace in the team that is winning us these penalties. Also Vardy is really intelligent in those situations
Thracian Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 If people with quick feet run at people in the box they're bound to be fouled on occasions. Nothing about Pearson suggests he would never put up with anyone diving, any more than he'd put up with over-the-top, career-threatening tackles. Every side I've seen him put out has tried to play the game honestly and that's how it should be. It's an added benefit nowadays that we've got so many positive players who relish taking defenders on or quick-passing their way into the penalty area. Pearson - as a former centre-back knows all about the trouble that causes.
Storming Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Always worth a bet I got 3/1 on a peno being given yesterday Money for old rope at the KP
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 The rest every single team would call for. Which a lot of folk ignore, good honest well won spot kicks. Last resort defending
Lionator Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Apart from the one against Blackburn, I'd say all of them were blatant penalties. Yesterday the most blatant of the lot.
