Loggy88 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Pearson is doing a great job and I fully believe he can lead us to the premier league this season. But I think it's clear the owners will not decide on weather to give him a new contract until the end of the season when we know which league were in. And from their point of view, that's fair enough. If they offered him a new contract now and then we cocked up again and didn't go up they might want to to sack him but would have to pay a wad of compo. But the squad as a whole is a stronger one than last year, and I think we will do it.
Loggy88 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Pearson is doing a great job and I think we will get promoted this year, but I understand why the owners haven't offered him a new contract yet. They want to wait and see what league were in next season before deciding what to do. If we don't go up There's no way Nigel will be offered a new deal. But I think it's our year and Pearson will get a new contract once promotion is confirmed. Up the foxes!
Corky Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 The simple reason is that people in the game know he's an average manager at best. We should of got rid after the play off disaster and brought in King Billy. Take today King Billy's team and tactical changes saw them thrash West Ham, whilst we get the run around by an awful Stoke side. Bottom line is Suedehead just hasn't got the ability to be able to change games and turn potential draws into wins and loses into draws. Like I say it's just my honest opinion. Yes, West Ham's Under-15s. Wow, let's sack a bloke who has lost two play-offs for another bloke who has lost two play-offs. Massive improvement there.

Like I say it's just my honest opinion. cuddly ken logic strikes again! How you can compare F*rest's latest cup effort at home (pretty much fielding their best starting eleven) against a West Ham side including plenty of youngsters and fringe players with our cup game away at Stoke, remains a mystery. Also, then applying cup game logic to our current Championship season… Top trolling, really! Bottom line is you hate the manager and there's no way of stopping you. Btw, which "people in the game" are you referring to? C'mon, spill the beans, be really honest and deliver something substantial for once.
Captain... Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Is he trolling, or does he believe it. If he does, then he is merely giving an opinion, and not trolling. Extreme views, and not ones I agree with. I have been accused of trolling in the past, when expressing views I sincerely believed in. Is he trolling? I don't know. He is clearly trolling, no actual Leicester fan would refer to "King" Billy, unless they were doing so for a reaction. He may think Davies is a good manager, I have a begrudging respect for the scrotum face nob rash, and I may even express it on here, but never would I or any other foxes fan, ever call him "King" Billy.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 …do you mean 'king Billy? As in "fu cking Billy"?
Dan Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 How anyone could want 'King' Billy over Pearson based on this season absolutely beats me. They're on totally different levels.
M0901 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I've always been a huge fan of Pearson. He's very level headed, never gives too much away and has made some very clever signings (Bakayogo is one I'm scratching my head over, though...) If LCFC are going up, the board must stick with Pearson through the entirety of our first season. Sacking him in December won't help our cause; if we go up, we'll stay up, I guarentee.

What position is King Billy's team in again? You finally convinced me that you're not a Leicester fan. It was good work for a while to be fair. I think you trod that line between complete ****wit and troll pretty well but you've pushed it a bit too far this time.

Haydos Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 100% this... Swear he's a tree! I'm pretty sure he isn't a Leicester fan. I mentioned it last week but this just confirms it for me. No Leicester fan would ever call him King fvcking Billy. When you're trolling you have to ease off it when we're top of the league or you get found out.
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 "Nottingham F*çWst fans implying that they're not caring about Leicester City FC, but actually are caring a lot more than they'd admit" shocker. And I thought them being 5th in the league right now would somewhat please their followers. cuddly k's probably still bitter about that 3-2 loss at the end of last season.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 What position is King Billy's team in again? That's irrelevant. They comfortably beat West Ham's match-day mascots, ergo, currently greatest team in the world
Kitchandro Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Fair play to cuddly ken. How he's managed to get people to take him seriously for so long I have no idea. One word of advice though Ken, when DANGEROUS TIGER starts to lighten up, that's your cue to keep a low profile.

Fixed that for you. 9 changes to his premier league team.
Guest shearfox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Fixed that for you. 9 changes to his premier league team. plus stoke are above west ham and haven't lost at the Britannia for a while.
Wink Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Have to admit I did run out of patience on that dreadful run last season, and thought replacing Pearson at the time would be the best solution as it seemed he didn't know how to get back to wining ways after such a great start to the season. I now admit it was very short sighted of me and glad the owners had to bottle and nerve not to get rid. I think Pearson has come out of that as a better manager, however proof really is in the pudding as their is still over half a season left. He certainly doesn't seem to be getting ahead of himself and if he can keep the players on the same level then he deserves all the praise. I don't buy into this that we were expected to be in automatic promotion spots. On paper there are some very good squads in this league and being in the play offs would be good, so I feel so far we are achieving better than expected and Pearson isn't getting the credit he deserves from outside the club. As for his contract, the owners are well within their rights to see how this season pans out before they decide to offer him a new contract or not. It all depends on whether he can complete the job.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 He must be, how could you seriously believe that "King Billy" would be better here than NP? He may think so. People DO have different opinions.
