Silverdaz Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 i would keep Schlupp as he can play in various positions
FoxTrott Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Personally thought Miquel looked comfortable at LB. I think Phillips will get the nod for the bench, perhaps over Hammond. I don't think we will see Mahrez for a while, never played English football before. I remember Pearson described him as something like slender, or small. I reckon he'll want to bulk a little before playing for us.
cityfanlee23 Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Was Miquel Hammond King Mahrez GTF Wood KP I'm hoping we may be able to buy Miquel. Would Keane cost more do you think? I think he probably would, but given the choice I'd rather have keane in or someone else than miquel, I like miquel and think he could have a bright future, but I don't know, something about him IMO is just not commanding enough to be able to handle the prem, He's done nothing wrong though...

Keane certainly looked Prem standard last Friday.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 This is quite hard when you can only have several players on the bench but I will go for: Logan, Was, Miquel, King, Hammond, Wood, Phillips.
Jobyfox Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 It’s a hard choice, but I’d go with: Logan – You need a goalie Schlupp – Defensive cover and also an attacking option Wasyl – Can cover CB or RB Hammond – Option to hold a game or to get more ball wining options in midfield King – Ideal midfield cover due to his energy Phillips – Goals Wood – Back up striker However, I’ve never seen Mahrez play. If he turns out to be a game changer I’d have him on the bench instead of Schlupp and have Miguel on the bench instead of Wasyl for LB cover. Moore would be cover for the RB position with Miguel dropping into CB if needed.
FoxTrott Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Fair enough, I was wrong. Mahrez and Phillips are both travelling to Leeds and part of the squad - Pearson.

broughtonblue Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Read the whole thread and can't believe nobody has bakoyoko in their squad! Edit: just seen he's joined Yeovil !
Jakemoore Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Wood and Phillips on off the bench will be epic! Little and large combos always make great strike forces in my opinion!
Jakemoore Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Bloody hell, we have a solid squad! It's actually insane! We could field two decent teams! Obviously one would be far superior but still incredible when you think about it!
Leicester Bean Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Bare in mind that De Laet can play left back if needed.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 It's good to hear they are travelling as part of the squad and if Wood is fit it will be interesting to see if he makes the bench or if he pays the penalty for a "tight hamstring" I can not really see either if the new signings making the bench at the moment if wood is selected. Mind you it shows how strong a squad we have now.
Ian W LCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 I would say: Logan Was Hammond king Mahrez Philips Wood That would mean Miquel and Schupp would miss out. We really have got a strong squad.
