Carl the Llama Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 ALL CHANGE IN ARGENTINA[buenos Aires, 21:59] Our sources inside the Argentina camp tell us manager Carl the Llama is looking at changing his team's set-up for the final two group games against Bulgaria and Russia. Fans have voiced their disappointment at losing to England in their first match and drawing with Russia thanks to an own goal in their 3rd. It is understood that Mr Llama is also unhappy with their overall performance in the tournament so far and thinks their problems may lie in the middle of the park. This could well be Lucas Biglia's chance to show his importance to his nation if the defensive midfielder can provide a solid base for the more attacking players in his team to build from. With so many strong players already in the team it will be difficult for Mr Llama to decide which player should be dropped to the bench to accommodate Biglia though. This paper suggests it might be beneficial to move Alvarez, who has been excellent in this campaign, into a more advanced role and to bring Aguero, who hasn't offered much so far, into a more central role alongside Messi on the edge of the area, effectively giving them 3 strikers. This of course means that Di Maria would have to be dropped and leaves the club playing a narrower game, but with technical skill in abundance this could prove to work in Argentina's favour. Below is the formation Mr Llama may end up using:
