foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Lallana, Sturridge and Shaw are the only ones I'm looking forward to watching
Grandad. Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 You certainly got me. Sounds like fun. Oh dear, get a sense of humour, suppose being the worlds biggest closet Man United fan then you haven't got much to be smiling about. Good day to you Sir. Lallana, Sturridge and Shaw are the only ones I'm looking forward to watch Add Sterling to that list and that's the same as me.

Grandad. Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Yeah Sterling is decent. Maybe a bit lightweight currently but he's exciting By lightweight what do you mean?
foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 By lightweight what do you mean? He's physically slight. Perhaps a tad harsh but I just worry about him coming up against a strong full back
kingcarr21 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Sterling may look like he not the strongest of players but he will dance past players. Very skillful player

Perhaps a tad harsh but I just worry about him coming up against a strong full back Sterling may look like he not the strongest of players but he will dance past players. Very skillful player He's strong physically trust me. Have a quick watch of this, I know this is just a one off game v Spurs but he has outmuscled many players this season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GFV6GPrduc

Only a minor concern anyway. Pace is a major asset in modern football and he certainly has that in abundance with a good end product

Pace is a major asset in modern football and he certainly has that in abundance with a good end product Yeah, for his size he doesn't let himself get bullied, the lad I think can go on to a whole new level. His final product at times is the only concern at times, can let himself down there but at 19 I think he can develop that!
kingfox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Hodgson said he wants to look to the future, but he will probably pick both Lampard and Lambert. It's about time Mark Noble got a call up
foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Yeah, for his size he doesn't let himself get bullied, the lad I think can go on to a whole new level. His final product at times is the only concern at times, can let himself down there but at 19 I think he can develop that!Yeah just hope he doesn't fall into the same bracket as Ashley Young, Arron Lennon, SWP etc
Grandad. Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Jonny Ruddy is "absolutely gutted" on missing the World Cup, I thought he should have gone personally. Stuart Pearce is on TalkSport saying he wouldn't take Shaw to the World Cup because he has no major tournament experience and he should stay with the Under 21s, does he think the same of Sterling and Barkley then? Such a willy puller, so glad the FA never bought into his desperate attempts to be the senior sides manager, embarrassing man.
foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Hodgson said he wants to look to the future, but he will probably pick both Lampard and Lambert. It's about time Mark Noble got a call up I'd love Noble to get a call up. I'd still take Lampard though
Grandad. Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Yeah just hope he doesn't fall into the same bracket as Ashley Young, Arron Lennon, SWP etc Hopefully he won't mate, Sterling will be coached by a top class manager.
foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Hopefully he won't mate, Sterling will be coached by a top class manager. Mourinho will never go to Liverpool Not really, I like Rodgers and think he's done a top job

Grandad. Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Mourinho will never go to Liverpool Not really, I like Rodgers and think he's done a top job Apart from Terry and Lampard who were already senior pros as such at Chelsea, Ashley Cole was brought in as a senior pro and all three were England regulars by the time Mourinho came in.. I know this is an England World Cup thread but Mourinho hasn't really got a great record at coaching young English footballers, Glen Johnson, Joe Cole and SWP all went there with big hopes and none of them went on to become world class footballers or good England footballers, yeah they won trophies but they never developed as footballers. Just a Mourinho thought..
kingfox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 I'd love Noble to get a call up. I'd still take Lampard though If Leon Osman can get a call up, Mark Noble deserves one sometime. Very underrated player he is, just won West Ham's Supporters Player Of The Year & Players Player Of The Year
