Four Man Utd players in the squad and two more on standby. They've all been bloody awful this season. And now Peter Taylor is an expert pundit on Sky FFS

kingcarr21 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 No surprises really. Glad he has taken some youngsters like Barkley and Shaw but really dont understand Wilshere or Smallings entry. Lets hope Wilshere can do something at the tournament cause he doesnt deserve to be there. Smalling is just all round shite. Would of rather somebody like Curtis Davies ahead of that tool. Stones is an interesting choice. Had a great season so fully deserves to be on standby. Really like the Ox but again he is another player who has had injuries. He may of missed out if Townsend wasnt injured. Dont get me started on Cleverly

I know its not a surprise, I'd have probably taken Jones just for his versatility. Also I'd have took Barry (I know) because he's played well with Barkley and has had a decent season, he would be a sub/back up. In terms of defence, Flanagan and/or Cole as they've had better seasons than Smalling and Jones. I really don't think that Wilshere has merited a world cup place at all and Welbeck just annoys me. I just had hope that Hodgson would oversee them

Jimothy Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Danny mills? Danny Mills was ok, merited his place as 2nd choice right back. Smalling is a pub player, nowhere near good enough for any national side at this World Cup.
