Solihullfox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Once had a conversation with a bank teller in the Nat West Bank in Bromsgrove. Somehow, and I don't remember why, the fact that I was a Leicester City fan came up in our chat at which point she said " oh, my son plays for Leicester City" to which I said who is that thinking she was going to mention someone I had never heard of and she said "Kevin Poole, he's a goalkeeper" Lovely lady.
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 When I was a kid I use to live a few roads down from Lee Philpott and Simon Grayson when they lived in Whetstone in the 90's. My mate fell off his bike outside Grayson's house he came out to see if he was ok and invited us in to wash his cut and bandage it but my mate said no. I wasn't impressed. Also Sir Steve Walsh follows me on twitter. And my mrs knows matt mills fiancé (matt elliott's daughter) and jack hobbs mrs. Where in whetstone did they live? I moved here about a year ago...and there's not much here is there so it must have been quite near to why I am now.I know,im going for really tenuous now!
pSinatra Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 When I used to wait for my school bus, this blonde bird would walk by every morning on her way to work. She was a few years older than us & all the lads at the bus stop would perv at her. I later found out that she was Mike Stringfellow's daughter. He used to run a local paper shop & I would eventually become friends with her (not that good a friend )
FoxLAD Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Went to school with Matt Elliot's Daughter. and then worked at the same hotel as her. then hadn't seen her for a few years untill i purchased a copy of nuts magazine and found her posing topless in there.
davelcfc100 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 My mrs is shagging Jamie vardy and David nugent, she says there a lethal combination together, they score every weekend wherever they go
WinslowFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I played against Junior Lewis when he turned out for Aston Clinton FC in the SSMFL Division 2 for my local side Winslow United, a couple of years ago
flintshirefox Posted 6 February 2014 Author Posted 6 February 2014 I went to Jamie Vardy's partyFirst time I heard that song I had no idea what they were singing until some lad walked right past me singing it!Thankfully my son didn't ask me who Charlie was!
flintshirefox Posted 6 February 2014 Author Posted 6 February 2014 I once played five a side in Thurmaston with the legend that is Alan Young. He was pretty chunky even then, back in '89 ;-)
lcfc1994 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Saw schmeichal looking smug walking through derby city centre the other week.

crisp monster Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 We drove past the Leicester team coach on the M6 once and I mooned out the passenger window and Brian little and Alan Evans both pointed at me ( in a look at that dickhead style)
LCCFox96 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Met Lee Peltier in Highcross. He was leaving wagamamas as I was going in.
Ziggy1990 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Mentioned this in another thread. Few mates share a massive place just outside Norwich that Richie De Laet lived in whilst playing for the Canaries.... Still get his post.
Kitchandro Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Said hi to Walshie in the car park (I know, who hasn't) Lived a few houses down from Grayson My grandparents used to socialise with Weller, Garland, etc. (Garland allegedly tried to chat my gran up) Said grandparents also bought a freezer off Dennis Rofe Had my ball signed by Claridge & Sav (no, not like that). Izzet used to train kids at Lutterworth where I played 5 a side on the same night. I see Sammels in Blaby a lot. My driving instructor also taught Mattock how to drive. No wonder I failed 3 times. Gary Mac had a meal on the next table at San Carlo's once. Had a picture taken with Gally, Wellens, James Vaughan and Alex Bruce at the Marriott before the last match of the season against Boro. But better than all of that, I lifted the coca-cola cup when we were the holders pre-season 97. SUCK ON THAT. Also, when Kasper comes over to clap the fans at the end of matches I'm pretty sure he's looking at me every time.
Kitchandro Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Met Lee Peltier in Highcross. He was leaving wagamamas as I was going in. This just reminded me of another one. Pulled out of Fosse Park and Peltier is following right behind us. The next day he scored the winner at Coventry.
