Long story here and not leicester related at all, but read if you wish. My dads work mate John, is good friends with Gary Cahills dad, John was round Mr cahills house for a drink when Gary showed up with Fernando Torres. At some point during this time John was on the phone with his 8 year old son, Luke, and said to him something like, 'you'll never guess who I'm with son', To which Torres then asked to speak to Luke, asked him how he was, what he likes at school etc, then Luke said to the Chelsea striker, ' I hope you score at the weekend Torres' to which he replied, 'I hope your right, I'd like to score'.

Anyway, Sunday evening Luke got a phone call from Torres saying, 'you were right Luke, I did score didn't I? Did you like the goal?'.

Was sceptical myself at first but either way I think it's a nice story!

Saw Stearman and Sheehan in Nottingham Gatecrasher. Stearman was standing there trying to look cool and discrete so (quite drunk) I walked up and went "Stearrrmannn" :). I asked Stearman what it was like having Mad Dog as manager to which he replied "interesting". I added Stearman on facebook but when he left for Wolves he deleted me..... :(. I messaged him saying he had made a big mistake and that I hoped one day our clubs would cross paths in the table and he would regret it. He did message me back sarcastically saying he hoped they would too. Well Richy look what happened! MUAHAHAHA.

When Frank Sinclair returned after "La Manga gate" he was runnign around the pitch, the stadium was pretty empty as it must have been an hour until kick off. I decided to stand up and clap him by myself and he looked up and clapped me back which then made everyone else start clapping...great moment. Though apparently Franky was a bit naughty..he was sleeping with a law student at my Uni in Notts whilst playing for Lincoln City. He would buy her pretty expensive gifts and had a lot of sex with her but apparently he said to her that if she ever told anyone about his affair he had the power to ruin her law career.

Oh and was once also sat right next to Andy Cole in Fashion bar/Resturant in Nottingham just after he had signed for them. I took a leak next to him in the toilet too. He was always on his phone. That place (just outside the broadmarsh) was a bit of a hit with the celebs as I also saw John Savident there (Fred Elliott) from Corrie only a few weeks previously.

Neil Danns tried to teach me how to dance in a club in Liverpool (I was better than him anyway).

Lee Peltier's brother was my taxi driver to town once.

My sister used to be decent mates with Nuge's cousin.

My dad's mate played tennis with Milan once.

My dad coached Trevor Benjamin's kid how to play tennis and I used to help sometimes. Those were the days. Tricky Trev.

There's probably more I can't think of.

My Dad taught Joachim's kid(s) had weird names if I recall.

My neighbour is the great nephew of Frank Large, who played for us in the 60s.

One of my best mates is the cousin of Teddy Lucic, who played for Sweden with Pontus Kamark.

I once helped warm up Peter Schmeichel (easy shots in the bread basket) in a training session before a pre-season friendly. I'm not 100 per cent sure but I think a little Kasper took part too.

Bumped into Steve Walsh (the current one at the club now) on the train after Charlton asked what he thought to the referee that day to which he replied 'bit of a willy puller'

How could I forget to mention this one....

The City players were doing their annual visit to the children's wards at the hospitals just before Christmas and one of my physio's mentioned I was a STH and fan so they came to my room to visit.

Also similar scenario back in the 90's in the days of Walsh, Lennon and Savage.
