deanolegend1989 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Id be very suprised if we dont beat Ipswich if: Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Knocky James Drinky Dyer Vardy Nugent Mayrez for Dyer and Was for Moore, wouldnt be my choice but Id still think we maybe could still win with just one of those changes. If though Wood starts or Miguel is preferred to Schlupp, Id be very suprised if we DO beat Ipswich.
volpeazzurro Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 I thought he looked fairly solid against Millwall. Can't say he did anything really bad and I don't at all want to appear that I don't rate him as I do but...I don't know whether it's his build 6'4'' ish? or lack of any genuine real pace, if he came up against a nippy winger I got the impression he would really struggle. Millwall hadn't really got one but he did get caught out a little bit with pace down the right a couple of times. He seemed to play centre half at right back if that makes any real sense. I saw on these pages somewhere I think that Arsenal won't be renewing his contract in the summer and think he would do a good job at centre half in the future for us, he's only young after all.
wasyls_right_elbow Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 I love this! Most clubs would be in the sh*t if they lost their left back and we've got a thread on who to put in! Great time to be a Leicester fan. Id go with schlupp by the way as having two pacey full backs would take the strain off RDL who does a tremendous amount of work on the right side
DanTheFox07 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 schlupp all day long unless wasyl can do a job a left back as seem's unfair if he loses his place in the side atm?
Leicester_Numan Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 This goes along with the Lloyd Dyer debate. With either Miquel or Schlupp, you have to play Dyer. People can want Mahrez in the team as much as they like but we have no idea as yet how good he is defensively. Whoever is chosen, we have an inexperienced left back that needs Dyer's experience in front of them. I think i'd play Schlupp for his pace and we have seen him link up well with Dyer before.

How about Knockaert Left wing?
Leicester_Numan Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 How about Knockaert Left wing? He's improved defensively but he still often leaves right back uncovered when De Laet rampages forward. How about dropping Knockaert for Mahrez? That at least won't make that much difference on the defensive side
FoxTrott Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Miquel for me. I see him as a long term LB if we go up and manage to sign him. Have not fancied Schlupp at LB much at all this season.
