CPW22 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Schlupp at left back for me but would like to see Moore starting again at CB.
Soar Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 If Schluup plays left back on Saturday expect Ipswich to identify him as the weak link after 30 minutes and then play on him. I must have been at a different game to some people as I thought he looked all over the place against Watford. The fact that they couldn't finish hid the fact that he wasn't very good defending wise that game.

He got forward well and it showed in Knockaerts goal.

Munshi Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 He did get done a couple of time though, we were lucky that they were so wasteful. True but at home we're more likely to get forward and Ipswich will most likely be defending for long periods.
volpeazzurro Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Miquel has played left back for us before. He played LB at Millwall and wasn't great there imo, not quick enough, not a left back unless desperate and we're not. His is a very decent cb though and I'm not knocking him. Think Schlupp is a shoe in under the circumstances.
theessexfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I thought he looked fairly solid against Millwall.
Bettsj2 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 We need to feel the power, OF THE SCHLUPPENATOR!!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Schluup for me, he's one of our own as opposed to Miquel who's only here on loan. It's not a great reason, but if Nige wants him here next season then he's gotta give him opportunities when they arise.
Socks Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Schlupp makes a few mistakes at LB Soooo i woukd have moore or richie I also think dyer should be replaced with mahrez for a couple of games
TJB-fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Away-Miquel, was decent at Millwall against a very underrated Chaplow home-Schlupp, pace power good link up play. Will be less exposed home than away
Bayfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Not moore. If we have to play moore he should play rb and delaet lb. But for me its schlupp or miquel. Not sure who I'd choose at this moment. Schlupp is living of watford tho.
billyn88 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 De laet left back, Moore right back. Morgan Miguel cb's This but with was instead of miquel. I don't see what he's done to get dropped, the last bad game I saw him have was at Brighton when I think he was played out of position. I wouldn't object to Jeff coming in either though.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Schlupp for me, if he's determined and performs well then he could stake a strong claim, down to the lads attitude and desire now!
Dickov22 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Time for Schlupp to come in. Big opportunity for him
Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Schlupp is fine. We can't have a perfect squad and everybody is struggling with injuries and suspensions this time of the season, that's football.
Mack Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Schlupp is fine going forward but is suspect in defence. For me we need to add Moore to the back 4 and work out who plays where as Nigel sees best. Moore did fine at left back when Konchesky was sent off.
Munshi Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Wouldn't want to drop Was though, he has done well, its a tough one but this is where Pearson has to make the big decisions
J.Lisemore Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I'd play Schlupp just so we can hopefully free up our main threat, Dyer. Saying that, I'd like to see more of Mahrez now, Lloyd needs a rest I think.
Unabomber Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 True but at home we're more likely to get forward and Ipswich will most likely be defending for long periods. That's why I said play Schlupp for this.
LCCFox96 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I'd go with Schlupp, if it was away I would've gone with Miquel.Damn that was going to be my comment. Agree completely.Miquel adds a bit more steel and as a more 'stay at home' full back is the best defensive option we have (without Konch) when on the road. But at home our fast attacking football, desire to go forward, pace on the left flank and a slicker pitch all play into schlupp's hands. Schlupp to start vs Ipswich.
