AndWhat? Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Again... without wanting to respond to everyone (Because the subject is not really that important, for the sake of a small opinion, I'm not going to argue) The mentality of the song suggests low morals. IMO. I have morals, I don't want to be associated with drugs or the party scene. So I won't sing it. I find that quite offensive. If I chose to take cocaine (even further than singing songs about it) how on earth does that mean I have low morales? What I chose to do with my body is entirely up to me and I think that you are the one with questionable morales for judging me for that.
Number 6 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Jeez some people are touchy. I don't think it says anything about drug culture of the fans or players; it's just a laugh. I don't think it's the greatest chant by any means but it makes a bit of noise.
cjslcfc Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Just as a harmless example, You are walking down the street in your town/City and you see a group of youthes, track suits on, burberry hats on, nike air max and trousers tucked into their socks... Just lounging around the streets.. what would you honestly think about them? The majority would think Damaged?, Wasters? Even scum? So why associate yourselves with that scene during a football match? I certainly wouldnt sing about it and be proud... Petty maybe, However you can normally tell a lot about a persons mentality or characteristics by how they act. As has been suggested. It's a bit narrow to perceive a party with vodka and cocaine to be linked with such people. I understand your points and if you choose not to sing it you're entitled to your opinion. Personally think it is catchy, gets the fans going and is just an amusing song. Riots aren't particularly great yet we proclaim to "riot" if Knockaert isn't sold. Do you reckon we should be encouraging "shitting" on the red side of the trent? ie. Forest and their fans... Personally I feel you're being a bit sensitive to the song but as I said you're entitled to your opinion.
AndWhat? Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Now if we sang about White Ace and ketamine......
Number 6 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 People were calling the ref shit at his job in a game I saw the other day. Bang out of order. Ban them for life.
thybluefox Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 I think some of you need to slowly bend over and remove that stick that seems to be lodged up your arse. Its only a song, its just a bit of a laugh and this time next season we'll have forgotten about it. It's not like its the new club motto.

Personally I feel you're being a bit sensitive to the song but as I said you're entitled to your opinion. I understand what you are saying.. And probably am being sensitive to the song on perticular.. But it's just how I feel about the song, I'm embarrased we sing it. I find that quite offensive. If I chose to take cocaine (even further than singing songs about it) how on earth does that mean I have low morales? What I chose to do with my body is entirely up to me and I think that you are the one with questionable morales for judging me for that. Like I said I am not trying to personally slate anyone although thats the only way it will be perceived.. It's just to give you an insight into why I have my opinions.. Which are not correct for probably 85% Let's not make this a drugs debate between us, But it may be your choice to put something into your body, However once in your system you have less control over your actions. Therefore morals go out of the window under the influence.... Nothing personal to you although it may seem that way

I suppose groups of black lads are muggers and drug dealers and asian lads are shoe bombers as well.

Cause I have done far worse things on booze trust me!
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 So is it just the coke part of the song you don't like or the vodka? Cause I have done far worse things on booze trust me! Sorry I've been saying "coke and charlie" but i meant vodka! It's the general concensus of the song really.... Without turning this into a drugs debate. Alcohol does exactly the same thing. Anyway, we move on... Agree.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Didn't he celebrate by sniffing the touchline a few games back? wtf
cjslcfc Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Didn't he celebrate by sniffing the touchline a few games back? Nope, he lay down and grabbed the corner flag. The previous game he scored he lay down and pretended to be a sniper shooting someone. I know some of the players seem to have a thing for Call of Duty so I can only assume they were both to do with that.
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 wtf Vardy has a reputation, I did read in an interview somewhere he had done about 1 month in prison and been tagged on his release, because of 'ABH' I think I remember that someone had shouted abuse at jamies friend who happened to be handicapped, and jamie proceded to assist them on their way to hospital
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Yeah let`s all get the young uns singing about Vodka and Cocaine, all good fun :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh2sWSVRrmo
Larry_LCFC Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 I never really understood it but atleast it increased the noise I suppose.
JonnyBoy Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 It's fun to sing songs and jump around you will notice there is a theme with some Leicester fans....... They go on about how we need to create an atmosphere then 9/10 songs we create they slate. Some will never be pleased.... That's why it is so hard to create a decent atmosphere sometimes. They are killjoys and stubborn t****. Just join in, doesn't matter what songs we have. If we have a good base then more and more will be inclined to join in with more original songs that you lot harp on about
Raj Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 I thought it was bring your vodka and bacardi???? Anyway...did Iwan really live next to joachim in a Leicester council flat???..maybe we were stereo typing a young black lad living in a council flat??? And did iwan wear a hat???..bet he hated hats! We are so cruel....
JonnyBoy Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Without turning this into a drugs debate. Alcohol does exactly the same thing. Anyway, we move on... i have never touched an illegal drug an never will... and i have been through 4 years at uni where MD or whatever you call it is as common as beer (almost). However I will sing the song if it creates an atmosphere and it is a bit f a laugh at the end of the day. Singing a song about coke shouldn't influence whether people will do it or not!! Its your environment which generally will determine if you try drugs etc... I don't recall the last time somebody uploaded a photo round Jamie Vardy's doing a line after 3 points on the Saturday
MrSpaM Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Now if we sang about White Ace and ketamine......Filbert Fox has come to rob ya' bins!Bring your white ace and your ketamine!
Voll Blau Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Filbert Fox has come to rob ya' bins! Bring your white ace and your ketamine! Down the park with Trevor Benjamin Bring your White Ace and your ketamine
blueblood74 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 It's a bit disconcerting seeing young kids shouting it. One in front of me at Forest was bellowing it at the top of his voice despite clearly not knowing what (or who, probably) Charlie is. My 5 yr old son has started singing songs he's heard so I just re-sing altering the key words:- Jamie Vardy's having a party, bring your cola and your smarties... Who's that chap with the squirrel on his head.. etc etc I think/hope it's worked.
Master Fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 I used to enjoy going to parties with vodka and a bit of charlie. Now I prefer parties where I can sit down in comfortable chair with a nice coffee and a piece of cake. Getting old is a bitch.
