LanguedocFox Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 I agree with a lot of the posters that "hate" is much too strong a word, even in connection with the little pile of bat-droppings that was Dennis Wise. Over the years I have disliked a fair number of our players, largely the ones who didn't put in any effort, or give any impression they cared whether we won or lost. One player who falls into that category who's not been mentioned is Martin Keown: he was only with us for half a season (not that you would have noticed) before going to Reading (where he was equally useless). Bone bleeding idle. No-one in our current squad (excluding those on loan) appears remotely indifferent or disinterested: quite the reverse, in fact. I love it when they are all shouting the odds when something goes wrong - shows the passion that we've all got.
bovril Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 Chris Makin and Alan Rogers. I disliked them just about as much as you can without meeting them personally.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 The days where Danny Drinkwater was 1st on my victims list. Why you still admit to having (/having had) a "victims list" baffles me
inckley fox Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 Chris Makin and Alan Rogers. I disliked them just about as much as you can without meeting them personally. If hate is 'intense dislike', then from a footballing perspective I hated both of them, in much the same way as I hated Nathan Blake, Mark De Vries, Jon Curtis, Craig Hignett, Carl Cort, Martin Keown, Ade Akinbiyi, Brian Carey, Marc North... there are more. And, with regard to Rogers, that purely professional hatred spilled over into an utterly personal hatred when he started slagging us off before last season's finale.
Leicester_Numan Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 That fall out was media talk, and even if there was one he was reinstated in the team after that and it was all smiles between him and Nigel, he's been injured the majority of the time he's been here too. That's the only one of the supposed fall outs that definitely wasn't media talk or fan rumour. He was dropped and placed on the transfer list for the undisciplined way he raised his concerns about possibly losing his place in the ROI squad for the Euros because of not being in our first team.Shouting at the manager in front of the other players is never a good idea. However, he got his head down, put the work in and forced his way back in when Pearson had to play him due to injuries. His imminent transfer was immediately cancelled. It shows there is a way back if you show the right attitude and application but I can't help thinking an apology from SSL would have sped things up.
Strokes Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Players i have hated, WISE and WELLENS Players i have loved, WALSH, JOACHIM, THOMPSON, IZZET and COTTEE. Non of the current lot fit into either catorgary for me, although i dont get to many games these days.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Dennis the Menace. I loved the guy. Gutsy geezer. I'd leave a cold pint on a hot day to punch Wise's head in. I think he's real scum, and hope he catches something unpleasant.
mickygib Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Logan... what a waste of space. What if kasper picks up a nock or a red? That chalky **** is his back up... no! Need another keeper as cover, I can remember him covering for weale and being like 'ah crap we lost' And isnt he due a testimonial? The lazy ****
cuddly ken Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 How sad is it that posters on here say they hate a certain player, based on rumours or their misguided assumptions. Lifes too short to go around hating, all it does is produce negativity. Let's start a "Feel the Love" campaign, as we march on into the Premiership. Peace and Premiership, that will do for me.
Corky Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Is Pearson still getting sacked? Are you still predicting us to finish 7th?

kingfox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Why you still admit to having (/having had) a "victims list" baffles me Because I have come along way since then.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Hypocricy cuddles! What are they? I'm intrigued Ha ha, fair point, have corrected.
chrishlcfc Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 I think one of my most hated/disliked players from a while ago has to be ryan mcgivern just frankly because he was so embarrassingly bad for us on a consistent basis.
